Xenoblade while commuting on the bus and witcher at home.

I am experiencing a weird mix of "friendship is magic and weird anime girl tropes" mixed with "Well that quest was bloody depressing and why is that witch naked?"

You need four hands to do that though

A creative person could play xenoblade one handed fairly easily, and a skilled person could play witcher 3 using one hand and their chin.

You get far enough in Xenoblade and you can basically let the game play itself.

I'm not terribly far in, but it pretty much does. I just kind of let rex do his thing and use special attacks as they pop up. i'm still not entirely sure how combat works. I just started chapter 3 and am looking for boat parts.

How can you play two video games simultaneously? Why would you even want to do this in the first place?

If they are on separate systems, easily. Just have both running at the same time and use whatever hands necessary.

If they are both on PC, also possible through multiple windows and macros (if needed).

Why would you even want to do this in the first place?

Grind heavy RPGs so you can do something else besides running around and pressing X for hours at a time.

You're going to have to be more involved soon. Around chapter 3, enemies start being major damage sponges to give you an opportunity to practice with the various combos and the chain attacks that you'll unlock shortly.

Yeah I was a bit sad at how easy the combat was but then I started getting wrecked pretty quick. But I just had to relearn some of the battle techniques that I skipped over and it got better, but I was definitely more involved in the battles.

It does make sense that they structure it that way, but I do wish they did a better job of introducing mechanics, in particular letting us see the tutorials again later. I had to google Fusion Combos because they were explained so briefly while I was also trying to learn about Blade Combos (which also weren't explained that well).

Yeah there was definitely some things I missed during the tutorials, mainly because there were so many early on I was clicking through them pretty quick instead of really trying to learn every single one.

One of the things I found out later on was using the blade combos to kill an enemy and then getting a ton of extra EXP because of the overkill %. Was very useful anytime I needed some quick levels and had big enemies I could kill.

Yeah, they never actually explained the overkill bonus in-game, to my knowledge. Maybe something about getting more rewards, but I figured that was loot, not the exp reward.
