I dont know why, but I brought the 100% evade Wilhelm and even after using his move everyone else kept taking damage? Is his move not a 100% cover?

Wilhelm isn't an AoE tank without iNichol until 7*.

Will move to a dodge-Beatrix after the weekend.

Should work after my WoL tests.

Yup.

He should work together with an earth/dark 100% magic aoe tank for Sheratan, since Coiling Ivy is bad for them.

As for Aranea you need a motherload of def and hp to take on her if the battle drags on. Or a 100% dodger preferably.

As for the Sheratan trial...
Getting her down to 50% is easy, now that I have the right cycle
...then I didn't know cloud couldn't kill the fruits in one blow, and it went down hill from there.
Probably either gonna run Sage Sakura or Emperor as my finisher next time.

I did Aranea with Illusionist Nichol and Wilhelm. She didn't do a single point of damage through the entire battle. Wilhelm spent a lot of time countering though. Learned that he can generate esper orbs on counters too, never saw that before.

Beginning March 6, new players can acquire the 5* max Level Ashe (FINAL FANTASY XII) from the tutorial gacha,

...What does this mean? Theyre making a 2nd Ashe and shes only 5* max?

I think it means they'll get a 5* Ashe at level 80/80. (Which can then be awakened to 6* and leveled to 100 once they get the resources to do so)

In other news, I haven't pulled a single banner unit, not even 3* units, from any of the last 4 banners on a daily half or free pull. The last on banner pull I've gotten from 1/2 or free daily was Balthier back in January on the last day of the FFXII banner.

I haven't wanted to burn any tickets because I just frankly don't have many after my last big pull for Basch when FFXII banner first started. I still only have one Iris from the first time she came around with Gladio lol.

At least you get rainbows from your daily/free pulls. My last two days have been Cherie (not doing the 250 because this banner is blah), and I've had 0 rainbows and I believe 2 golds so far from dailies and free pulls this year.

Also, my wife is going to be thrilled at ANOTHER Lightning. That's the rainbow RNG always wants her to get. I guess I should get psyched for my first too.

Clarifications about Lightning and Ashe

Hi Everyone,

I received a few questions about this and wanted to provide some clarity:

* New players can obtain a fully leveled 5* Ashe by completing the tutorial.
* All players (new and existing) can obtain Lightning by completing the new rookie quest.
* Both of the above updates are scheduled to begin on March 8th PST, and not March 6th as previously announced.

Hm, looks like CG Landlord(Materia, 30hp 20% spr/def, 30% Earth resistance and lb refill rate, STMR is heavy shield with 85% def, 80% Earth resistance and 30% hp.) is next for them, along with enhancements for Wado the 45 mag accessory ninja doggie, Kunshira, Wandering Rain(Not magic tank Rain) , and other Seiken characters.

Are Ashe's abilities dodgeable? I see a lot of people run 3 Ashe in arena.

I'd like to maybe have a Mage Team at some point, I just don't know if I really have good mages for it. I have Grim Lord Sakura and Trance Terra, then I start reaching for things like ExDeath and Kefka. I also have near zilch for mage gear, enough to maybe outfit two mages somewhat well, and then rags for anything else.

Stuff like Lightning's enhancements does include magic dodge.

However more often than not it will be Mystea, Chow, Silt, Awakened Rain etc, who will break your chains on the target they cover.

If they can reach around 600mag, you need to adjust, you are good.

Uh, you don't have a couple of Victoria/William stashed around? No Shantotto gear from FF11 raid?

I don't have a leveled Shantotto either, but I might still at least have the resources to craft her gear if I needed to. I tend to expand my inventory instead of sell old mats and stuff lol.

I've run 4x Ashe in the arena since the week Ashe was released, and I've never run into someone dodging her chains, at least enough to keep them from dying in the first turn. The only time someone survives is if they're covered by a magic tank, or if it's FFBE Bonus week and there's an Ayaka with really high Spr and around 10k HP.
