In this case, they're just screenshots of tweets (and Twitter profile descriptions) from the same Twitter thread. It probably would've been easier to just link to that Twitter thread, but I guess the creator of this image wanted the tweets plastered next to the weird profile descriptions.

Except without the context of the discussion, jumping from comment to comment with no explanation or guiding organizational feature, it just leaves the reader confused, unless they were already a part of the conversation.

Just seems like someone opened paint and started copying and pasting parts of twitter with a foaming mouth.

I don't know how much foaming was involved, but that's probably not too far off.

I'm not particularly familiar with Metal Gear Solid. I've never played one, but if the game takes place post-european colonialism, I could understand seeing a white South African child soldier, I guess.

Apparently Liberia has a minority population of people from Europe, America, and Lebanon. Including some whites, but I can't find any numbers with a brief Google search. So, I guess there could be some white or Mediterranean (are we counting them as white yet?) child soldiers, but I imagine it'd be a stretch.

And, again, how many black people are there supposed to be in the mainline MCU anyway? You do know that the Avengers is basically all Americans, and America is only 13% black. That means that, between War Machine and Falcon, the MCU is already proportionally representing black people, but you're arguing that it's somehow racist against black people.

As for your constant mentions of population percentages, I'd like to point out that medieval Europe's population of elves, ogres, and dragons all rested at 0%.

If a film happens to have an all white cast, or a mostly white cast, there's nothing particularly wrong with that. But there really isn't a justification for making a stylistic choice that you're going to allow elves, aliens, robots, etc., and disallow diversity.

It's kind a moot point since, as others have said, this game seems to hit upon the one area which justifies racial homogeneity: being historically accurate. But you really can't have a Whites Only sign hanging above the entrance to some fantasy world of monsters, maidens, and magicians.

You most certainly can have a Whites Only sign above the entrance to a fantasy world, if you can have a Blacks Only sign above the entrance to a fantasy world.

They were very rarely seen in Europe even in the 1700s lmao. Of course, yes, you have a few exceptions, but they were simply very uncommon demographically until relatively recently. You really had to get into the 1800s to see a sprinkling of them start to crop up regularly, and only in certain parts of Europe. You would see Turks though at least in courts because of the Ottoman Empire.

Ive only looked through that one link, but it and the thread is fucking hilarious. It seems to be based on some conspiracy that everyone in Europe would have had to be in on, and the author is suspect as well.
