It's definitely a 1A and 1B situation in terms of worst possible outcomes.

The Habs are my most hated franchise in all of professional sports and I'd still rather see them win the lottery than the Oilers or Blackhawks.

The Leafs haven't played all week, but if their 4 game losing streak beforehand wasn't enough to take them out of the divisional race, the fact that the Bruins and Lightning have somehow forgotten how to lose over these last few weeks has surely done it.

We're essentially 100% locked into the third spot with just over a dozen games to go. The rest of the regular season is a formality.

The Rangers are going to be really good in a couple of years.

This team is a much better watch than the team they were fielding early in the season. Instead of watching a lot of declining old players there's a lot more youth with room to grow. It's got all the makings of a successful rebuild unless they completely blow the draft.

The overtime goal started in the Rangers zone with a kid making Letang look bad.

The Leafs somehow win a game where they were down 2 in the third, tied it up, then scored another tieing goal with 15 seconds left in the game after Dallas scored the go ahead goal a few minutes earlier. They then survived a penalty kill in OT and won in the shootout.

100% not rigged considering that Auston Matthews went to Toronto and not Arizona. Crosby was probably rigged though like you said.

Yeah Edmonton has averaged over 95% attendance per season, with several seasons being at 100% since the 2004/05 lockout there is no reason to help them out.

I feel like the WC1 in the West may be the easiest playoff path of all. Vegas in the first round. Mediocre California team in the second. Won't have to face anyone good until the conference finals!

The next closest Atlantic division team is Florida, who are 14 points behind them and currently out of a playoff spot.

The top 3 in the Atlantic are all top 6 in the league in points, and then every other team in the division is very bad. Montreal is 5th in the division and 27 points back of Toronto!
