1) Flopped in China despite adding Asian actors in the movie to carter for the region

2) its not even going to get close to the box office perforce of TFA

3) normal people who dont need to read reviews to influence them to think a movie is good, hate the movie just look at the user review score

4) destroyed the entire Star Wars franchise

Yeah a lot of fans may hate it, and it may not have made nearly as much as TFA (which was a pretty high bar), but any movie that makes over a billion is objectively not a flop.

Generally rule is you need to make double your budget (after marketing) to start making profit

Overseas box office/money get less of the % then American box office receipts

Disney expected to track as much as TFA in both money and reviews, it will not

I don't know what it takes to get the point across to you people. THE LAST JEDI WAS NEVER GOING TO TOP FORCE AWAKENS AT THE BOX OFFICE.

Tfa was a cultural event, possibly the biggest cinema event ever. No star wars movie Disney will ever put out will have that working for it. That being paid, TLJ has made 1.2 billion in a month. You really think Disney is crying about that? Its already the highest grossing 2017 film in the US and will have the same ranking worldwide very soon. TLJ was a financial success.

Literally got better by a family film jumaji that had less screens then Star Wars did (because Disney forced theatres to play Star Wars in 90% of their screens to 5 weeks straight)

"for years" is definitely an overstatemnet. However, if you have left the house in the last 3 months for groceries, Christmas shopping, or really for anything, then you would know a Star Wars movie was coming. Disney plasters that franchise everywhere on everything. "Living under a rock" is the pretty spot on

Lol wut? I think you need to stop talking about movies now. Wonder Woman is the only DC movie that was considered a success. Justice League is a flop because it's gross didn't even come near recouping the budget (and even further from netting a positive).

Disappointment =/= flop. The Last Jedi was a box-office hit and made hundreds of millions and that is a fact. Whether it was a disappointment is subjective.

This is why DC needs to scrap all their hacks and "directors" and just let Patty Jenkins run the entire cinematic universe. She is the only one capable of saving their destroyed franchise.
