Also when I first played I mashed the quantum computing button to get -10000 creativity and clicked the powerup that shows up... which instantly resets your game. I lost like 1.5 hours just like that. It has a confirmation dialog now fortunately.

if it's phase 2, you're supposed to run out. just turn all that material into wire and then clips

I ran out of wire. Everything is dissembled and I'm only at 1.2 oct, need 5.

Beat it in about 4 hours of actual gameplay time, though I "cheated" and idled the game for like 8 hours during the day in the first phase after getting all the auto things built, came back to a ton of creativity, yomi, paperclips, and money in the stock market, to basically skip through that part.

Cool game though. Best idle game I've played-- well, probably because it's not really one.

Also you totally don't need to scrap anything to get to the space phase. Just need to not overbuild. Maybe I got lucky but I'm pretty sure you should get the clip requirements before you hit the point where you overbuild. I had about 0.3 octillion(?) inches of wire left after getting the 5, and I think I overshot slightly with 200 factories.

Allowed myself to get suckered into playing a bunch of this last night. Got slowed to a crawl in a spot that I don't remember being a sticking point before (and then closed the game to force myself to go to sleep cause I had allowed myself to stay up too late already).

Got to the point where I had a noticeable percentage of space explored (like 3-4 digits showing up in the percentage display) but I was just not going up on drones. (Drones cost paperclips, and while I had enough wire-makers and material gatherers and factories, I wasn't exploring enough space to keep up with demand even when I cranked exploration and speed up to like 7/7, It was only enough material to supply roughly self replication 2 or self replication 3

start with replication 12, hazards 8 or so. spam the button for a little while, then wait til your number gets into the millions, then start exploring.
