Hrm... I don't know why I imagined Linus with an axe when he wields both that and a sword in the fights with him(And he has a sword in this official art). Though him being an axe unit would round out the Four Fangs colorwise.

Ephidel's in more cutscenes than Linus (pretty sure, at least) and is quite good-looking if you're into that sort of guy (I've definitely seen fangirling over him).

Linus fights with a sword/axe in Four-Fanged Offence and again as a morph in the final battle, and uses a sword only (Runesword in Japan, Light Brand everywhere else) in Cog of Destiny. So yeah he's more sword than anything, for all that I agree that he should probably go axe if he ever makes Heroes just because we need more of those. (Obvious parallel with Raven.)

I've been running a Flier team recently with Hinoka, Michalis, NY!Azura and stubbornly persisting with Caeda (although I have tried a less defensive variant with NY!Camilla that is probably strictly better), so I'm intrigued to say the least if this is the shot in the arm that Caeda has always needed.

My haul after ~70 orbs:

+Atk/-Res Rhajat
+Spd/-HP Mage Eirika
+Spd/-Atk Titania
+Res/-HP Myrrh

Much better luck this time around than when I was going for Micaiah! I didn't want to get my hopes up that I would get Eirika, but getting her and a Rhajat with good natures while I was going for Myrrh are nice bonuses. I wanted to make Lyon my go-to red mage, but can't deny Eirika is better than him. Will eventually give her Rauorblade+.

I was worried for Myrrh since green orbs were so scarce. Her nature is a bit awkward, though.

Titania isn't even good fodder :/

Nice haul, barrel. That Myrrh is fine - second best bane I'd say. I'm holding my Titania for her emerald axe. I'm sure it will get a refinement eventually and come in handy.

Who is upgrading Lyon? Sophia has better potential, but that art is crippling.

Compared to Raudrraven Sophia, Naglfar Lyon has +4 atk, +1 HP, +2 Spd, and +1 Res all in exchange for -2 Def. Even if you have an optimum boon for Sophia (i.e. Atk) she's still gonna lose Atk by 1 point. He's also cheaper to build (doesn't require sacrificing a 5* character). The only way Sophia has more potential is that she can be merged past +2, but that implies an extremely high investment in her which is only worth it if you really like her, because she's only so-so as a unit.

Basically, Lyon does the same thing as her but cheaper and slightly better. And yeah, has waaay better art (and is a significantly better as a character IMO, but milage may vary).

I'll probably upgrade him myself because somehow I actually only have three 5* red mages and one of them is a -Atk Leo (sigh), and I like his character+art a lot more than my current Raudrraven mage (Lilina).

I was thinking of 5* Lyon in comparison the 4* +10 Sophia which really doesn't require a high degree of investment.

I have four solid red mages in Eirika, Tharja, Sanaki, and Nowi. Lyon plays a different enough role than them, so I'm considering it. I think they got Lyon's art right, and I like him as a character.

Yea, only reason I'm shelling out the 20k I could be using on Nowi on Lyon is because I like him as a character, he has rocking art, and this is my first Raven red mage. There still lacks a good number of red mages in this game, so I want to make a niche for him. Going to use him as much as possible to also grind HM

Lyon's art/voice are perfect. Also he's a really great character!

Sophia's a better choice for repeated merges, but as far as base stats goes Lyon is better. Powercrept BST will do that.

Insert buff passive
Quick Riposte Seal

Most will go with slapping Triangle Adept on him, which works well, but I'm out of those and this seems fun. Bait in an attack, hit back, take some extra damage from Fury, and then unleash pain with Vengeance.

QR is getting tossed around, but I like giving mages Swordbreaker as B so they can initiate on melee while QR takes care of ranged reds and greens. Fury over TA for extra damage against reds.

Beat Lyon Infernal with Flier Emblem, which is proving to be even better than Horse Emblem due to terrain advantage alone. It's what allowed me to finally beat CC 11& 12, as Mountain of Fear and The Dark Domain were the roadblocks

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, Lyon should make short work of Bow Lyn, and thus combined with Nino eliminates the scariest Horse Duo I tend to face.

On the other hand, two new horses are going to be introduced and they will cause more Horse Emblem to appear. I'm not scared of L'Arachel(Nino says Hi), but I'm not sure what Mage Erika is capable of.

I am absolutely appalled by the customer service. I have not received the orbs from the survey and most likely will not be getting them because I didn't take it from the app. It didn't specify I had to use the app, and god forbid, I use the web for easier typing. I sent them an email and they instructed me to submit the inquiry through the app, which I had already done, but I submitted another. I went back-and-forth with them through email and the reps DO NOT understand what I am asking for and keep sending me the message my device could have been in a bad state. I submitted a third inquiry through the app and have yet to hear a peep. They offered the option to take the survey through the web, but there's no absolutely no way for them to tie it to the user, so why fucking offer it in the first place???

As a paying customer, this is highly disappointing and frustrating and makes me not want to spend money ever again on this thing.

Did I miss something? I have no recollection of there being orbs tied to the survey. Just wallpapers and the feeling of potentially getting a new outfit for a character you like.

EDIT: Googled it and found out there was some survey you could do at the beginning of the month for 5 orbs. Shit, wish I had known about that.

180 Orbs to get Myrrh which is pretty bad for a 3 character banner where I am sniping on green. It mostly evens out the good luck I had with Micaiah. Unfortunately, Myrrh is -Def. I guess I got 2 Mage Eirika and a Zelgius with good Natures but Myrrh was pretty much the reason I came back. >_>

CYL results is a possibility. Vote counting is automatic so they should already have the results. It's really just a matter of timing for releasing them. But I imagine they record these things a bit in advance so maybe they didn't have the results in time.

i have pretty much every rare, good hero so the only other things i'd consider are Hector or Brave Ike for fodder, since i don't think Nephenee/Sigurd/Ayra/Myrrh would have much chance.

Ike is the most popular character, he is likely a strong unit and furthermore people won't have him yet. The poll is pretty stacked in his favour.
