So I watched the first episode of Overlord, I'll be sticking with it. Is the main character going to do some breaking bad shit, since from what I can tell he's still stuck in the fantasy world even in the LNs?

Not sure where you found January 10th - Anichart lists it at near 11 PM January 9th JST, which would put it at a likely noonish release on crunchyroll on tuesday(I'm assuming they weren't stupid and actually got this).

I can't even decide who's the best girl to me. I think I like Narberal the most. Albedo is too clingy and annoying. Shalltear is also one of those small and annoying girls which I can't get into. Also her monster form is ugly as FUCK.

Pandora's Actor is best boy though. I love him.

Watched the first ep of that shogi anime, Ryuuou no Oshigoto. 16-year-old shogi prodigy just obtained the elite shogi status of ryuuou, and a (very fucking adorable) 9-year-old girl named Ai breaks into his house, asking to be his disciple. She appears to have some shogi talent herself, despite only starting a few months ago. There was some fanservice, but it was minor and played off as humor. If there's going to be actual romance between him and the kid, though, I'm going to have to bow out. >_> Here's hoping it's just a nice comedy slice of life about shogi.

I've read that the LNs are received well and have won some awards. It's why I'm not worrying too much about it being just a loli fanservice show. So far I've enjoyed the humor overall.
