Good, fuck him.

He shot and killed someone just for being the daughter of a cop he hated. Not saying his killing of cops was justified, but even if you agree with his ideals or whatever this should be enough for him to be hated.

I don't see why

Wasn't his ideals the LAPD had only grown more corrupt and that even good cops who signed on to make a difference couldn't make a change and thus the lapd needed to be purged ?

That's not a Crazy radical idea

Purging them by Becoming the god damn punisher is though.

Well I was joking. Of course he did plenty wrong.

But I don't disagree with the notion that the LAPD is full of violent, corrupt racists who always use way more force than necessary. Read his manifesto. The man's ideals and integrity were admirable, he just went about protesting the LAPD in the wrong way.

Shit was scary. The shooting was in my hometown next to my high school. The whole city was on high alert I've never seen anything like it growing up in LA. I remember while all the drama was going down I was scared to drive home from work in the morning. I had just finished a nightshift and I was working security in LA.

I had borrowed my dad's pick up truck cuz my car was in the shop and also I was wearing my security jacket and had a buncha my military gear including bulletproof vest and stuff in the car (National Guard) and was praying I wouldn't get pulled over or opened up on when they see a black guy with military gear in a truck.

But yeah there was cops EVERYWHERE on my drive home on basically every exit all the way from Century City in west LA, all the way to the beach cities and into Redondo/Torrance where the shooting happened. You could practically cut the tension in the air with a knife.

The two fucking clowns that opened fire on that truck gave NO warning, never attempted an arrest, never gave commands, and made NO effort to apprehend. They simply saw a truck and started opening fire like they were in fucking Afghanistan. What they attempted was nowhere close to an arrest. It was more like a goddamn gang hit. My friends were on facebook posting about how they heard the shots. The two fucking clowns put almost 100 rounds into that truck. The cops never intended to arrest Dorner they were out to kill.

Worst part is the truck was not only the wrong color, but the wrong fucking make and model. Also they fired on two short Hispanic women, and Dorner is a large black man. Some of the worst police work I've ever witnessed in my life.

And they didn't even get charged. Paid administrative leave, put under investigation, and cleared of any misconduct or wrongdoing. Fucking disgusting.

I mostly remember the LAPD warning citizens about him and making it seem like he was crazy enough to shoot at ANYBODY.

Turns out they felt the same fear of him that many LA residents feel about the rest of the LAPD, haha.

Excellent fucking post. You could tell the LAPD were scared as fuck. And of course, the assholes who killed the two Hispanic women got away completely. The worst thing about the whole situation was that NOTHING really changed. The LAPD are still a bunch of corrupt, racist, incompetent assholes and worse, people seem to have forgotten Dorner already.

The hispanic women miraculously survived the shooting. They barely got shit from the government I think they barely got a million and at first the LAPD simply tried to replace their truck and that's it. I was following the case and was really pissed off about it just cuz it happened so close to home.

But yes it was a really bad look for LAPD. It showed how corrupt they are and how egregiously bad police work is swept under the rug. I was disgusted by the entire situation and how the cops handled it. The cops were damn near a few steps away from putting martial law into place while Dorner was out. It was really weird how all the law enforcement was on edge. I honestly didn't want to even leave the house while it was going on.

It really pisses me off that the LAPD was basically allowed to patrol the city like it was Afghanistan and go after a suspect as if they were a fucking cartel, not a police force.

Imagine you're delivering newspapers in the morning with your mom and all of a sudden you're under fire from semi-automatic rifle fire in your car. Who the fuck do you call for help when it's the police opening fire on you?

I mean the fact that the cops were basically allowed to ambush innocent civilians from a distance without announcing their presence, issuing commands, attempting to make an arrest, or identifying themselves in any way as law enforcement and STILL kept their jobs is fucking mind boggling.

When LAPD wants your ass they can straight up pull a drive by or gang hit on you and get away with it.

I knew that they would kill him on sight, and my question is "What did they want to hide?"

that guy was a fucking asshole. and anyone on CE who cheered him on was fucked in the head. people just thought it was cool cause he was "taking it to the cops". except he wasn't. he never actually killed a single cop. for all his ranting and raving about the cops, every single one of his victims was an innocent person. in the end he was a coward who lacked the courage to actually fight those he thought had wronged him. he just used his anger as an excuse to murder people.

I think when referencing his integrity he meant prior to the psychotic break/rampage.

Joining a shitty corrupt police force with the idea of changing it from the inside out is a high integrity action
