I think I went about 1-2 days once. But there's really no reason for me to ever fast for even a day, it would only negatively impact my career / life.

I had food poisoning once that lasted about 48 hours, then I had to go shopping for "safe" food to eat so it was around 50 or so hours.

i stayed awak for 48 hours once but i ate during that time, all night party at the local uni consisting of cards against humanity and DnD lots of DnD

Yes, as long as you hydrate.

In training I ate all my MREs too fast and went 3 days with any.

That was shitty.

Few times, only once by choice/ish.

When I was a kid the only food me and my brother got till I started working was from school lunches. No school lunches in the summer, so till I found out about boys club summer camp and young life camps and was able to start working there so I could stay the whole summer.....it would be really hard to find food.

As an adult, only 1 time when I was sick as a dog for a few weeks, I went without sleep/food for about a week till I got a bit better (never went to hospitals).

Since then....I've skipped a day once or twice but thats about it.

In my first year university I got a mouth infection that made it too painful to eat or drink anything other than water. It lasted for about 10 days - by the end of it, I had to wear a belt with all my pants. I'm not a big guy to begin with and I was positively gaunt by the time I could eat again.

A full meal?

Lets me see. This summer when i went to Europe. First two days there I could not eat.
I ate on the plane, that would have been 2ish hours before landing. I got 2 or 3 bites our of a slice of pizza before i started feeling sick and went to sleep back at the hotel around noon. Once i woke up i wasnt hungry at all. I went out again around 9ish, got back to my hotel and started to feel hungry around 2ish and couldnt sleep. When i did get up at like 6 or 7 i went down to try and eat breakfast but should couldnt. I ate very little. Then around dinner i tried to have some mcds i was able to get some fries and 1 bite into my burger and thats it. And didnt get a full meal down till the next morning. And after that, the rest of the trip i ate all my meals in full. (Plus that was the first night i actually slept through most of it)

Over a week iirc. Back when I was 9 and my intestines were crushed in a car wreck. I went untreated, and couldn't eat or sleep because of the pain. I could barely hold down a sip of water. Then after surgery, which occurred roughly a week after I was hurt, I wasn't allowed to eat for a few days. So, I'm guesstimating something like 10-11 days.

When I had to make weight for wrestling sometimes I would go the day without eating because of paranoia.

I don't really know, I'd say I've gone longer than 24 hours a few times but doubt it has ever gone past 48 hours.

A few years ago I was really sick for about a month. 3 weeks of that I was unable to keep down any food, even water was difficult. Spend most of that time just sleeping, didn't have the energy to do much. Th last week I was starting on foods again, but couldn't deal with much at that point, I was mostly having thin soups and juice. Lost a lot of weight as well.

The money I ended up saving since I didn't eat during that time ended up getting me Pokemon Black 2. :P

Heh, I ended up with gangrene. They to cut the rotten intestines out. Said I wouldn't have survived the night and they barely caught it in time.

Got super depressed when I found out my GF of 6 years had been cheating on me and was pregnant with somone else's kid about 4 years ago. Didn't eat for about 3-4 days. Never felt hungry. Pretty weird.

Does water count? Usually when i get depressed i wont eat or drink anything unless its water. Happens fairly often, too.

Eventually when I start getting dizzy towards the end of the 2nd day is when ill eat like a piece of bread or an apple

Probably a bit under a day that I can think of, there's never been really any reason preventing me from eating and usually if I go 8 hours without eating I'll get noticably hungry.

yeah i've gone 5 days, and I wasn't on the brink of death or anything like that, sure with some willpower I coulda gone 2 more days. the 5 days I just hadn't gotten hungry until well after day 5. then I had a banana and went like another 24 hours before eating again.

I had a really weird metabolism as a teen though, I could eat all day and not gain a pound or do just like that and hardly lose any weight.

Got my tonsils removed two years ago. I ate very, very little for the two weeks following. I lost 19 lbs in two weeks. I could barely eat popsicles. All I did was take pain medicine and sleep.

I used to miss meals due to workload but...never went without food for more than 7-8 hrs.

Over 3 months. Had my jaw wired shut and lived on Carnation Instant Breakfast and ice cream floats. I always joke that I went through about 4 gallons of ice cream and lost over 10 lbs in a few months.

When I was a jockey, I would go 2-3 days without eating to get to my weight limit quite often. My max daily caloric intake was around 400 calories

12-24 hours during illnesses, but I highly doubt longer than that.

Depends on what you mean by eating. My mother went months without solid food as her cancer and chemo treatments kept her from being able to keep down solid food and so was on a liquid diet of broths and water. Eventually the cancer had spread to the point that it was pressing on her intestines and stomach, which kept her from eating anything at all until she slipped into a coma and died from the cancer essentially crushing her lungs and heart due to it's spread and the weight pressing down on all her organs.
