If you wanted to maximize how upset people are you wouldn't save people like Maechen because Charon and Gen take this thing roughly 37x as serious as everyone else, so making them happy causes a net happiness increase

People complaining about Maechen has greatly outranked people complaining about Ariana. He's doing it right, if that's truly what he's doing anyway. It's funny the people who "care so much", apparently, never have called tennis out for the way he saves.

Plenty of people dislike Hope.

He's basically got the anti-Lightning crew++ I feel. He's just usually out before people can get too pissed about it.

Even when he made top ten the only person I recall hating him enough to make posts was GMUN

Vayne Solidor has the Maechen problem tbh. Most of the haters are pretty tepid about it.

Hope is so terrible even SE gave up on him. They drastically changed his character for the sequel, and even then they were so unhappy with that they decided to just take all the character away from him in the last game and made him a soulless husk.

I'm gonna be honest if Wakka didn't have Attack Reels I'm not sure I'd support him as much as I do.

Probably the closest thing to a gameplay vote you'll ever see out of me. I mean I also like the character but he's probably about the only one where it comes into any significant amount of play.

I mean, that's not really a troll save. It's just a save that's boring to some people. I would be included in that number because I think new winners are really fun and make the game unpredictable, but I wouldn't say that supporting a consistently proven winner is trollish.

Supporting a proven winner could potentially be trollish if it wasn't Vivi. There's frankly a reason he won twice. Any FFIX character outside of Eiko is pretty much auto-dq, really.

Actually Amarant would be a good troll vote, but he's so hated he doesn't even make the field.
