I have a feeling there are some injury prone people in this place and I came out of lurking anyway for ghost and maybe for the NFL things again so...

Long story short something went weird out of the blue on Thursday (while playing a game of mah jong, of all things), and for the past 3 days I have felt I have around ~50% motor control in my left wrist/hand, which I expected to at least improve a little by now. I do not think the overall scope of it fits carpel tunnel, but it hurts if I exert it too much. I barely used my left arm yesterday, but I wonder if it was still too much.

Typing right hand only is doable in moderate bursts, at least. I am pretty heavily right dominant.


Is this just something that needs to be let rest for a prolonged period of time? Or are there little things that may help?

Having had wrist issues for most of my life you should probably go see a specialist. When I actually tried to get it fixed I ended up having my lower right arm in a cast for a month. I also did some softer splints and shit.

But basically you should just not use it at all. I think. Not a doctor, but yeah.

It's what I would do with NES games and worked.
