hearing about the positive reception to this and remembering how i enjoyed playing through all of the original sonic trilogy got me to check out how much the game is.

at 20 bucks, i think i might get it later this month!

Not even at SA2 yet and there's enough games there to disagree with that!

Sonic 3&K > Sonic 2 > (probably Sonic Mania) > Sonic 1 3D, CD, and Colours are all too close together to rank.

3K > 2 > Generations > 1 > Colours

I think I like CD better than 1 nowadays. It's a game with several good ideas not fully put together right. It's less than the sum of its parts. As for 1, I just hate Marble Zone and Labyrinth Zone that much.
