Tbf, at least with legalization and regulation the hope is all the stuff on the streets cut with God knows what, and not being able to dose properly because different dealers have different strengths, it'll cut down on ODs, it'll cut down on crime, and government gets money.

I know the counter is "we shouldn't encourage it" but we don't encourage cigarettes either and they're legal. Just don't do it. Cigarette usage has decreased despite still remaining legal, and there aren't street people selling cigs. It should be obvious at this point that even putting heavy charges and educating the dangers of these drugs still doesn't work, because so many still do them.

i'm glad i'm not the only one who caught this. this article is literally reporting on a sensationalist story that a speaker at a meth conference told on the first day of the conference to get the audience engaged. and the speaker heard the story from someone else. there is absolutely no proof that this actually happened.


I would wager that it did not. Absolutely ridiculous tale.
