FWIW I don't think it was a scumlord move from Mewtwo to point this out today (waiting until there were seconds remaining to state it publically is a different story, that IS scummy). He legitimately probably just missed it up until this point. Otherwise I'm certain he would've at least put money towards EXCELSUS last week to try and force a cage match against Bass.

The irony here is that going to Low already was a tier change since Lopen's bold was past deadline and the 'proper' roll went to High >_>

Because otherwise you get an unfair advantage, instead of both sides having a level playing field. It's possible he'd want to pay down Armstrong this week if you paid someone else down, for example. This really shouldn't be complicated or arguable.

I just don't think admin errors should ever adversely effect player plans, and that chunk of GP just materializing out of the ether in a playoff match definitely qualifies.

That's an interesting question cause theoretically you could've just done that regardless. My gut instinct is that the paydown window would have to time out and then you'd have a chance to use Wrex (or you could do it earlier but then he could paydown someone else in response).

I mean to be honest you can do results + peacetime in 10 minutes flat if you go into it prepared with time to spare when we don't have bids on the line.

This is all Lopen wants a freeze between:

Mewtwo: buy down Luca

peacetime ending


That's not even remotely unreasonable, and honestly is the most elegant solution to Mewtwo sandbagging the buydown to begin with.

The irony of it all Eddv and why I think going back to results doesn't quite cover it is I probably don't Megasteal vs Mewtwo last week if he has an accurate, which means you probably bid more on terrain which means you probably win and don't ragequit.

Which is why I'd rather just roll on as is, with me actually getting a very easy 15 minute window to counter Mewtwo's play which I would've easily had had I known the money was wrong.

And the fact that results had gotten later and sloppier and relying on players to self police (last week i could have 100% used Fox's Trust Your Instincts again and gotten away with it despite the fact that it should have still been on cooldown because at some point Kanz just left it off results)

The dumbest part about the results having so many errors is like, standings are not actually that difficult to do with the amount of bookkeeping that has been removed from this format (RI changes, merc purchases, lower amount of players, more gold outlets). Like it's pretty much "get new CDs, tick down CDs, change GP a few times."

I could do them accurately in about 20 minutes of work I think. Normal M4 standings would take me close to an hour.

There were a few other weird errors that I probably should have had corrected - like it was always a wild card as to whether or not he'd actually tabulate cooldown for Heart to Heart and I had a heart to heart counter on Mega Man that simply shouldn't have been there, meanwhile stuff that might have been useful to have as notes - like which gene mods char had - werent kept track of at all.

He recovered 9 GP from paydown refunds, then 20 GP from infra, which put him at positive values - enough to pay down Kefka, but not Luca or Armstrong.
