Overall it was pretty awesome. Much better than episode 99. I think we're at least 2 episodes away now from Jiren Vs. Goku. Episode 101 will likely just be battles with the henchmen of the Pride Troopers.

this was like the worst episode of the tournament to date, maybe of the the worst episodes of the entire series

the art and animation was so subpar in the first half of it looked fan-made and the simplified character design of Caulifla just looked goofy going to the ascended Super Saiyan form. Kale's reason for going LSS was cringeworthy and when she finally fought it wasn't animated very well either

and then her form that was defeated by a SS2 Caulifla (without god ki) just hours ago can now tank a Kamehameha from a SSB Goku

power scaling is completely out of the window and Toei truly doesn't give a shit about consistency or even the art, so just fuck it

Toei legit gives no fucks, they have Kale fuck up the arena the gods of destruction ended up not being able to damage and Cail is so arrogant she asks to learn blue even through the bitch just got SSJ2 and even went for the dumb buff form. these sayians are awful just like Goku's kids, it's sad how disappointing they are.

1. That Yardrat that everyone was curious about didn't do s*** lol.

2. Caulifla is no longer as impressive as I thought. She discovered ussj off screen (I like how her t*** poked out when she transformed), but was too dumb to realize that the form is worthless and scarifices speed for power. She also couldn't remember ssj2 until Goku showed her. Even as a ssj2, Goku still had the upper hand. He could've easily eliminated her if he wanted to. I also like how ssj3 was referenced. Good to see the writers didn't forget about it.

3. Cabba was pretty cool. Defeating those two nameless guys in base like it was nothing (cabba x kale please).

4. Now kale. Oh boy where do I start. First of all I like kale, a lot more than caulifla. I like that she's basically a saiyan version of hinata. Instead of a loud mouthed arrogant tomboy. But this is probably because I prefer girls with that shy, innocent, timid, quiet personality. Anyway wtf at her level of power after transforming? She threw around ssj2 Goku like he was nothing. Vegeta called it the "true form" of a super saiyan. She even tanked a kamehameha from ssjb goku! Is her form really at the level of super saiyan blue?

5. Then jiren just shows up and takes her out like it was nothing! Then goku walks up and starts smiling at him. Which really makes no sense. He just easily took out somebody that was kicking your ass. Why are you happy to fight him? I'd be running away.

6. I find it funny that Goku doesn't give two s***s about Hit. Even though he previously lost to him twice. You'd think that Goku would want a rematch.

Goku is the fight equivalent of a gold digger who only likes you as long as you can satisfy his fight boner. Still I wonder why the fuck they brought along Gohan and the jobbers if all they were gonna do is stay in a fucking circle the entire fight, this is dragonball, smarts and strategies have no business here Freeza,17 and 18 are all able to hold their own just fine and the only reason Krillin is even out is because he broke formation and tried to be cool in front of his wife. It it were gonna be like this they should have scrapped Tien and Roshi and used Trunks and Goten.

U6 saiyans are being wanked so hard in order to sell merchandise. The writing is terrible and SSB has been nerfed to hell.

Even base form Cabba is OP at this point. They may as well have Caulifla learn LSSB while scratching her butt (as opposed to the back tingling) while SSB Vegeta trips and falls off the stage for no reason.

I'm seriously still shocked by how bad Episode 100 was, they flubbed the introduction of the female saiyans badly and this was their chance to redeem themselves but it keeps getting worse

Even for the people who somehow like Kale and Caulifla....how can they ignore the bland deviantart-tier character designs and animation?




I saw a pic in an earlier topic comparing Toriyama's character teasers for Yamcha, Ginyu Force, Future Trunks, etc. and compared it to the trash DB Super character art we're getting now but I can't find it on my PC. It really showed how lazy Toei is nowadays, all I found was this

Kale shouldn't have been able to tank that Kamehameha, but it's likely Goku didn't go all out considering the size. And since krillen and 18 together can match it, kale probably makes sense.


This probably has more to do with Goku revealing a new form vs. jiren though.

Do you really not get how U6 Super Saiyans fighting on par with SS Goku and Vegeta makes no sense? These guys have had these forms for over a decade, trained with other SS's in the time chamber, fought to the brink of death multiple times, trained with literal gods, and they can use God Ki (remember when Beerus said they got massive power increases just from having it in the God of Destruction arc?)

Goku's SS2 should be much stronger than a LSS, Vegeta's SS should be much stronger than Cabba's. Toei could give us fights with the U6 members that would be just as hype/cool AND MAKE SENSE, but they just don't give a shit

Uh the gods of destruction Battle did some pretty notable damage.

A nice big crater and the central pillar collapsed for example.
