Finished ep 1 of Knight's and magic, pretty good, the CG isn't that awful, honestly the magic spells effects make up for it, i like the whole runes-on-magic spells thing.

Also the ED is by fhána, it's so hard not to recognize her voice after dragonmaid lol

Which Idolmaster games are the most Iori-heavy. I wonder if there might be some that's light enough on text to at least try. Might also consider finding ways to run iOS stuff on my android for shiny festa...

Yeah take out Ami and Mami and put in Takane and Haruka and it would be the perfect game with all of the best girls. But alas, I think Takane and Haruka are both split between the other two versions. I guess I would also swap out Hibiki with Yukiho to make my "perfect" version.

I don't think you can buy the Shiny Festa games on iOS anymore though, IIRC they were de-listed for some reason. There's always the PSP versions though, and they're honestly better as they don't have half the songs locked away as DLC like the iOS versions did. Free DLC, but still a pain because you have to download it all and Apple will delete your stuff without asking to make room for their updates.

As far as light enough on text to try the Shiny Festa games are probably the best bet. No real story to them at all, they're just primarily rhythm games.

Idolmaster 2 you can't even produce Iori, as she's part of the rival Ryuugu Komachi group.

Platinum Stars on PS4 might be another option. Way less emphasis on text and communication events than the previous games, and more emphasis on a straight up rhythm game. Plus you can produce Iori. It doesn't come with many songs and you have to pay a ton for DLC to make the song roster worth it, though.

It also adds a few really good new songs like Amaterasu (but I'm pretty sure that's DLC)

After I spent most of the day not feeling well, I finally just got around to watching the new episode of Princess Principal. I'm really liking it so far.

I think Ange is best girl so far, but with the revelation from this episode, who knows? Most people I've seen talking about the show think that *POSSIBLE MAJOR SPOILERS* Ange and Charlotte actually switched places many years before the show started, in a "Prince and the Pauper" type of situation. The they ended up being separated during a war and trapped in each other's lives until now. So Charlotte (the princess we've seen) is actually Ange, and the Ange we've seen is the real princess Charlotte. So saying that Princess or Ange is best girl is kind of shaky at this point because... well... which one?

But at least we definitely know what two things Dorothy is the best at...

I'm actually okay with the twins, they are so entertaining lol. Iori, Haruka, Hibiki, and the twins would be great.

I was hoping to get Shiny Festa on mobile rather than psp, cause well if it's translated might as well go with it. But I have an android. And if it's unavailable now normally cause Namco is a fuckboy... well I won't say anything else on that.

I heard there were some psp games with fan translations. I wonder if there is a site that has translations of the events in Platinum Stars...

It's great up until a really rushed ending due to the second season only getting 10 episodes instead of 12. But besides that flaw, Chaika the Coffin Princess has a fun cast of characters, a unique storyline, and a good combination of action, humor, and cuteness. Seriously, just look at her:

incredibly average fantasy anime with a very rushed ending
most folks like it because it is a fantasy adventure without some dumass rpg rules and a protagonist who has difficulty talking (if you choose to watch the dub solely for this, youll see what i mean)

that said, id probably watch it (and its goat op/ed themes) again, but its not rly anything that special
