Tbh yeah. I have like 250 hours on it, don't even have the past couple expansions yet. Most played Steam game by far.

Same with me. I have over 300 hours, which is like 100+ more than my next most played, which is The Binding of Isaac

If we are going to be drawing street cred from CKII hours, I've got you beat. 1,000+ hours. Anyway, game is totally worth it if you like strategy games. It's a decent mix of strategy and RPG with a massive ton of depth. The game does come with a decent amount of DLC; some great, some okay, some ... not great. Nothing too bad, but some of them are highly controversial. Game has a steep learning curve because of the historical aspect and how different it is from other strategy games, but it is worth it.

Might as well, seems like there are a few people in here that enjoy the game enough to have it installed.

Anyways, yeah, you play as a family and you do shit. Make choices. You're not going to war and moving troops (You do, it's just the point of the game) You play as a family, all the ups and downs. It can be a huge challenge to understand, but there are plenty of YouTube videos to help you out with that. It's one of my favorite games of all time.
