Is this total for whatever the location is, or just whatever your personal share is?

Regardless for me, I currently pay $700 a month for a fairly low quality one bed room apartment.

My last apartment was $700 for my half of a really nice 2 bedroom apartment. ($1400 total)

Before that was $500 for my half of a decent 2 bedroom apartment. ($1000 total)


Within the next month or two I plan to move into a pretty nice 5 bedroom house my brother is going to buy. My share will like be $500ish for roughly a third of monthly mortgage.

None of this included bills, which I'd peg at $150 total, but cut in half when I had a room mate.

Although I'd guess you just live in a more affluent part of the country rather than just living downtown (Orlando) like I do

My mortgage is around 400 dollars, but my roommate pays me that much in rent, so it evens out.

I still pay for all the other bills though.

1400 for a spacious 3 bedroom house. I pay 600 for the master, my half brother and step brother each pay 400 for the other rooms. Utilities and such work out to about 300 more and get split 3 ways.

$200, 1bd/1br all utilities paid; based on how much I earn in paychecks. Highest I've paid is $500.

Public housing in an old hotel; the apartment itself is nice, but hot as fuck, cement floor...and lived-in stains that have probably existed for 25-50 years.

I am thinking of moving out if/when I get an OT job and pay off other debts/loans. If prices are this high for most people, I'm thinking I should just stick with $500-$600 to stay here...
