CHAPTER 14 (NIGHT 6): Encroaching Dawn

Things are winding down as only five tributes remain in this game

Uncle Chan: An old martial artist and skilled chi wizard

Clara: A royal princess from a faraway land with a not so princess like attitude

Bendy: An imaginary friend and quite the sinister trickster

Cassandra: A skilled fighter with dreams of serving in the royal guard

And finally Quan Chi: the brutal combatant and wielder of various dark magics

Bendy finds a place to hide and tries to rest for the night

Clara continues her blood hunt of Bendy while cheerfully whistling a murderous tune
--

Cassandra delves deeper into the cave and eventually comes upon Quan Chi! He appears to be focusing on the ritual as he hovers in place!

(“Okay…if I can just get the jump on him I can end this right here…”)

Cassandra slowly approaches as quietly as she can. With blade in hand she prepares to strike

“Fool”

Cassandra’s heart froze as Quan Chi turned and raised a hand at her! Instinctively she dove to the side as the rock behind her exploded! It seemed that crafty warlock was more aware of her presence than she thought!

Cassandra smirked and regained her posture! She stared the warlock down but he didn’t seem perturbed.

“So you are the rodent who managed to get in here. I should have known that fool would inevitably failed. I should have finished him off earlier but that demon insisted on getting him involved. It does not matter I suppose, you killing him just saved me the trouble.”

Cassandra readied her blade

“Whatever old man, I am gonna put a stop to this little set up you got going here”

Quan Chi smirked

“Do you really think that little girl? Amusing…but foolish! I grow tired of this chatter, and your presence is interrupting my work…”

Quan chi took a fighting stance! A chill ran down Cassandra’s back but she shook it off!

Quan Chi raised his staff and struck the ground with the tip. He eventually started glowing a malevolent green energy!

Cassandra charges forth with blade in hand, the knight against the evil wizard! She went for a decapitating strike but Quan Chi dodged it and tried to deliver a powerful punch at the woman! She shifts to the side as a ball of green fire shoots out of his hand and smolders the nearby wall!

“You gotta be kidding me!”

The dark room glowed with evil magic as the ritual continued to grow in power!

“Little girl, you have no comprehension of the power I possess!”

Quan Chi leaped high into the air and dove to smash his fist into her skull! As Cassandra dodges the ground below him cracks and glows furiously!

“Yeah keep talking!”

Cassandra leaped back and swung her blade which collided with his staff! The staff was tougher than she expected as it held her blade at bay!

It then suddenly started glowing

“What th-“

The head of the staff exploded with light and nearly blinded her!

“Son of a bitch!”

Cassandra tried to dodge whatever would come next…As her vision cleared, Quan chi was charging at her with his staff!

“Shit!!!”

Cassandra manages to twist her body in a way to narrowly avoid being hit! She manages to grab on to the staff and deliver an elbow into Quan Chi’s face! The sudden shock causes him to lose his grip on his staff which she snatches from him

“You DARE!?”

Quan Chi stumbled back with what looked like a bloody face

“Hah not so tough without your toy huh?”

Quan Chi glared at her then slightly smiled…Cassandra could tell that probably wasn’t good

Cassandra glanced back at the staff which had suddenly morphed into snake! With a shriek she chucks it away before it could attack! While she was momentarily distracted, Quan Chi began assaulting her with a flurry of blows!

“Damn it, this can’t keep going like this!”

With a quick kick, Cassandra manages to push him back slightly and create some distance! She tightened her grip on her sword that shined in the red and green lights in the ritual room. It was all or nothing…

She reached into her bag and coated her blade with one of Uncle Chan’s magical concoctions…

Quan Chi raised an eyebrow with curiosity…

Uncle Chan carries his pack through the woods having ignored Cassandra’s words.

“Hmmm….”

Uncle Chan makes it to Quan Chi’s cave as the sun begins to rise. If she was anywhere it would probably be here.

Uncle Chan makes his way inside!

Cassandra readies her blade and runs at the warlock. He smiles and readies for her strike to him which would have been all well and good…

Cassandra strikes the dirt and stone at an arc and sent it flying at Quan Chi’s face! He is taken off guard as the debris smack into his face!

“Wha-“

As he wipes his eyes, Cassandra is on top of him swings her blade! All he could do was try to block with some magical resistance…

But the blade cleaves straight through his arm! The blade had been enchanted!

“WHAT!? ARGH!”

Quan Chi grasps at his wrist, but Cassandra doesn’t even give him a moment to rest. She immediately cleaves off a piece of his other arm and then slashes his chest!

Quan Chi is left with an exasperated expression on his face as he falls to his knees! It was time to finish him

Cassandra yells as Quan Chi maintains that look of utter shock! She drives her blade into his heart! Quan Chi falls back defeated!

Cassandra puts her hands on her knees exhausted! It is at this moment she hears the approach of someone behind her!

“(Pant)…I told you…I had this covered. Hehe-“

CRUNCH!

Cassandra is dumbfounded for a moment as everything suddenly went numb. She coughed as some blood splattered forth before her…What…

Had she been…betrayed?

Cassandra falls to her knees and looked at Quan Chi’s corpse before her. It flickered a bit and then started laughing a ghoulish laugh before disappearing before her in a wave of ash…

…It had been some sort of conjuration or illusion…

Quan Chi stood behind the helpless girl that was on her knees before him! There was only one thing left to do with this trash…

Suddenly Cassandra’s whole body began to become covered in sparking cracks! She screams in agony as they glowed bright and brighter until she violently exploded into a pile of meaty chunks! All that remained of her was her beating heart in Quan Chi’s hand

He proceeds to lift it up above his head and crush it!

“One pest down…”

Quan Chi turns and sees an old man approaching his ritual room

“One more to go..”

CHAPTER 15 (DAY 7): Test Your Might

Bendy yawns to greet the new day! He scratches himself and steps a few paces to look over the surrounding
area! It seems he finally got that crazy princess off his trail. This weird “game” can’t last too much longer! Yeah, if he could just lay low a little longer, maybe he will survive this thing.

SNAP

Bendy froze and gulped nervously! He slowly turned to find a figure approaching…

“YELLOW FUCK!!!!!!”

Bendy screamed and hit the deck as a machete swung where his head had been! The machete was then brought down as he scrambled to his feet and broke off in a random direction in a sprint! Clara dislodged the machete and gave chase

“WON’T YOU GIVE IT A REST! L-LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!”

Bendy continued running like his life depended on it (which it did). Princess Clara was hot on his heels!

“P-PLEASE, I’M SORRY, C-CAN’T WE WORK SOMETHING O-“

Suddenly the ground gave out from underneath him and Bendy plummeted down into a hole…then he felt numb

“Oh…”

It took Bendy a few moments to register what had happened…but he had apparently fallen into one of the land’s many hazards…a trap hole. Spikes impaled various parts of his body!

“Auuaughh…”

Bendy weakly and careful maneuvered his head! The light above him was soon obscured by the silhouette of a woman gazing down at him judgmentally

“H-help…”

Princess Clara stood there a moment then sat down on the edge of the hole. She whipped out a lighter and a cigarette and lit herself one up…she was going to watch…

“Auauagh…”

As Bendy moaned in agony he could only see that crazy Princess smiling down at him.

“You…..bitch….”

Bendy finally perished and eventually combusted into flames! Clara stood up once more and after taking one less puff, tossed the cigarette down at his smoldering bloodied corpse

“Hmph, motha fucka!”

Clara flipped her hair back and walked away, her vengeance now complete. Sure she’d have liked to personally gut the little troll and string him up in a makeshift dungeon but this would have to do!

Uncle Chan slowly stepped into view as Quan Chi turned to greet the intruder. The old man glanced down at the smoldering remains of Cassandra and shook his head

“It would seem I have more rodents to deal with…”

Uncle Chan’s glasses shined in the light of the nefarious magic!

“Your plans end here.”

Quan Chi smiled

“Indeed, soon the ritual will be complete and this little game will finally be over.”

The two circled the room while glaring at each other

“…but first…”

Quan Chi suddenly took a stance and fired off a blast of dark magic!

“HMPH!”

Uncle Chan took out a talisman and took his own stance! The harmful powers of Quan Chi’s magic is nullified in a shield of green light

“Ah…I see I will have to do this the old fashioned way…You will regret interfering with my work old man. You will be joining your friend soon”

Uncle Chan took a fighting stance

“We shall see.”

The two kung fu wizards leaped into the air and jump kicked each other with incredible technique and force! As they landed they dashed back at each other and decked each other in the face!

“Insolence!”

Quan Chi dashed back and delivered a series of kicks and punches at Uncle Chan, yet much to Quan Chi’s surprise, the old man seemed to be keeping up with him! Infuriated, Quan Chi delivered a hammer fist to crack open the man’s skull! Uncle Chan responds by grabbing his wrist and capturing him in a temporary hold! At this point he delivers a few flicks to Quan Chi’s forehead!

“OOooOO!”

Quan Chi stumbled back and rubbed his noggin which now had a reddish mark. He clenched his teeth and glared back at Uncle Chan who resumed his battle stance! He then did a hand motion as if it so “bring it”.

HOW DARE HE MOCK QUAN CHI!

Quan Chi roared with primal fury as his right arm started crackling with red energy! Uncle Chan raised an eyebrow with concern as he saw Quan Chi’s enraged eyes burn red with rage!

“RAAAGH!!!’

Quan Chi was suddenly upon Uncle Chan and swung at him! Realizing that this was no ordinary attack, Uncle Chan took out a magical stone which generated a green shield…

Quan Chi’s empowered swing slammed into the shield and it broke like glass upon contact! Quan Chi follows up with another swing into Uncle Chan

CRAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

Well…that couldn’t be good…

Uncle Chan slams into a wall

“Urgh…”

Uncle Chan steadies himself and takes out a few knives with enchanted papers attached to them! He tries throwing them at Quan Chi…

…but most of them missed! Quan Chi slowly approaches with a smile as the enchanted knives miss him entirely! One does get close to hitting him square between the eyes but he merely smacks it aside with little effort

“Gurgh”

Quan Chi grabs Uncle Chan by the shirt and lifts him high off the ground

“Is that all you could muster!?”

Quan Chi smacks Uncle Chan twice upon the face mockingly, but with Quan Chi’s empowered magical strength it did far more damage!

“RIDICULOUS!”

Quan Chi does two fast spins with Uncle Chan in his grip and sends him flying! Uncle Chan slams into the ground just outside the room beyond the ritual border

Quan Chi cracks his knuckles and walks to the fallen warrior. It was time…

Quan Chi takes some enjoyment seeing the old man huddled over holding his gut in the dark

He is about to reach the old man when he hears him saying something…last words? A prayer for mercy?

“Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao…”

“Hmm?”

The lights illuminating the walls in front of him suddenly turn from red to green!

“What!?”

Quan Chi jerks his head back to find the red stones floating in key areas of the ritual room are now spasming! The knives Uncle Chan had flung had not all been directed at him, but at areas of the ritual room! The knives and the attached spells were crackling with green energy!

“BASTARD!”

Quan Chi charges at the weak man only to find himself restrained! He can’t seem to go beyond the border of the room now!

Uncle Chan slowly rises to his feet, bloodied but still alive! His glasses shine with a green glow as he stares at the dark wizard beyond his reach!

“DAMNABLE WIZARD! I WILL GET YOU! WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE YOU WILL RUE THE DAY YOU CROSSED QUAN CHI!”

Uncle Chan turned away from the infuriated warlock and left the cave! The angered howls of Quan Chi eventually faded behind him!

“Grgghh….”

Uncle Chan stumbles to the ground and coughs up some blood! Quan Chi really did some damage…

Uncle Chan reaches into his bag and takes out one of his last remaining supplies. A healing potion he had concocted for emergency! He chugs it down and slumps down against a tree.

Although battered and bruised…

Uncle Chan had at least managed to escape the darkness…

The sun shined above his head, casting back the shadow!

CHAPTER 16 (NIGHT 7): Reunion
--

Uncle Chan roams through the dark to find a more secure location. His supplies are dwindled and who knows what other dangers still lurked around here. Just how much longer would this last?

As Uncle ponders this he hears a twig snap and immediately takes a fighting stance! He squints his eyes as his potential foe comes into view

“Hey old man!”

A princess with a partially ripped dress comes into view! Uncle Chan lowers his guard

“Oh…how are you?”

Clara smiles

“Oh just wonderful! I found that horrid little gremlin who killed that poor baby! He won’t be bothering anyone ever again!”

Uncle Chan raised an eyebrow

“Oh…um...that’s good.”

Despite his words Uncle seemed to be slightly worried about Clara’s casual attitude of the whole thing! Still she didn’t seem to notice

“Oh yes! So, how are things with you?”

Uncle Chan sighed

“Well I just got through my own fight. It…could have gone better.”

Clara frowned at that but continued

“Well you are still in the game so it obviously could have been worse! I don’t know how much longer we got but if you want you could hang with me for the night! It’ll be just like old times!”

Uncle Chan paused for a few moments considering her offer…then gave a somber smile

“Yes, that would be nice.”

Uncle Chan and Clara head off together and make camp

Meanwhile in the cave, Quan Chi continues to try to break out of his “prison” to little success. That damnable chi wizard had ruined everything! He couldn’t let him get away with this!

Quan Chi crackles with malevolent energy as he tries to rip his way through the magical circle! His glowing hands seem to “grab” the magic around the border and begins to force it open! Slowly but surely it begins to break apart as magic chaotically sparks around the room

“GRAGGH! NO MAGIC CAN HOLD ME!!!”

Quan Chi focused all his energy into breaking himself out! The magic continued to crackle around violently!
As he continued, stray sparks of fused magic collided with the demonic stones that lined the ritual room! They soon changed from red to purple!

The color change in the room momentarily caught Quan Chi’s attention as he almost broke free

“Hm-“

BZZzZZzZZ!

“GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!”

The violent confliction between the two different magics combined with the conduit of the demonic stones caused a magical chain reaction within the ritual room! Purple sparks of lightning shot out among all the stones and continued to branch out across the entirety of the room! Quan Chi would be struck by one such spark…then another…and another…

“DAAAAAAMN IIIIIIIT!!!”

Quan Chi shot out his arms widely and just as the border had been broken, the inside of the ritual room exploded in a purple light! Quan Chi, along with anything else inside the cave, is immediately vaporized as an explosion fires out of the mouth of the cave! The cave would then collapse!

Quan Chi was finished, and the Deadly Alliance was officially destroyed.

And then there were two…

At the crack of dawn a siren sounded, waking the two weary tributes

“HELLLOOOOOOO TRIBUTES”

Uncle Chan lazily opened one eye while Clara groaned

“Snrk…ugrgrh what time izzit?”

“TIME TO CELEBRATE! We would like to congratulate you as you are the final two tributes remaining in the game!”

Clara shot up

“OH HELL YEAH! We’re the best! Fuck you other tributes!”

Clara shook her rear and danced around…yet her companion had a gloomy expression

“What’s up old man? You heard em! We outlasted all those other guys!”

Another voice rang out

“Indeed…and now there is only one thing left…”

A third voice continued

“Only one of you can win…so that means…”

Clara suddenly went quiet and looked at Uncle Chan. He just stared back at her silently and closed his eyes

“Oh that is some BULLLLLLLLshit! We freakin made it through all this and now we gotta…c’mon is there another way to wrap this up?”

One of the voices responded

“I am sorry, barring one of you falling to one of the lands many dangers, this is how it should go. In the end only one of you may be left standing. Why prolong this?”

Clara frowned

“But…”

The voice continued

“You may choose to believe me or not, but I assure you that the fallen shall be returned home safe and sound”

Another voice responded to his companion

“Geez way to ruin the suspense”

Ignoring the comment the voice goes on

“What you do next is up to you…”

And then all was silent save to the sound of birds chirping

Uncle Chan sighed and got to his feet. Clara looked back at him

“Old Man?”

Uncle Chan looked off into the distance

“We must end this. I miss my family, and I take it you miss those close to you as well?”

"..."

[Cue bad flashback of Clara dealing with her pain in the ass housemates]

“Uh….sure…”

Uncle Chan motioned her to follow

“Come…let us finish this somewhere else.”

Clara just stood there silent for a moment but would eventually relent. The two former companions would make their way to the Final Battleground

It would all end soon…

CHAPTER 17 (DAY 8): All Good Things

There was a palpable tension in the air as the old man guided the princess to their final destination. They were silent for most of their walk.

…It was a nice day.

…Clear blue skies.

…Sun shining radiantly down upon them.

…Why did it have to come to this?

After a lengthy trek Uncle finally stopped

“This will do.”

Princess Clara looked around

It was a field perched upon a large hill top. Many battles had been fought in just such a place many times in the past. Both hero and villain had come here before, some finding glory, some cast down into the bowels of defeat.
A single cherry blossom stood here as a flurry of sakura petals danced in the wind.

At the sight of it all Clara could do was smirk

“What a crazy time this has been huh?”

Uncle smiled back

“Indeed, you were quite the handful.”

Clara returned his comment with a cheeky grin

“Still, you were at least…tolerable…for a royal pain in my behind.”

Clara laughed

“Yeah, and if you were ever part of my kingdom I’d make you chief rice picker. That’s what you are great at right?”

Uncle just frowned at that and Clara raised her hands quickly

“Kidding, just kidding…”

Uncle just gave her a sullen look

“I know…”

There was a sudden gust of wind…

“Yeah…it’s been rough but we at least had a few good times huh?”

Uncle Chan nodded…and then took a battle stance

“Yes we did.”

Clara dusted herself off

“You ready for this old man?”

Uncle nodded

“Ready when you are Princess.”

Clara pulled out her machete and made the first move! She rushed forward at the man who simply waited for her approach

She had to be careful though, she saw that this old man was actually pretty tough! She leaped into the air and swung her blade down at his head!

Uncle Chan merely side stepped out of the way! She continued a flurry of swings as Uncle Chan continued to try to dodge!

(He couldn’t keep this up fore-)

In a swift motion, Uncle Chan managed to grab Clara’s arm mid swing and flip her to the ground! Her machete clattered ground into the grass as Uncle Chan followed up with a swift kick causing Clara to roll away in pain

“Argh son of a bitch”

Clara got to her feet wincing…then grew wide eyed

“Uncle Chan had strolled over to the machete and had picked it up. He did a few swings in the air and took a stance

“Oh…shit.”

It was Uncle’s turn now, he dashed at the Princess…so she did the only logical thing!

Run away!

The Princess tried dodging the man’s way more effective combat movements and could only just barely avoid being cut up! Her heeled slipped weren’t helping either!

She ran behind the tree and ducked just as Uncle went for a decapitating strike. The machete lodged into the tree trunk giving her a brief moment of respite

(“Argh fuck these things”)

Clara slipped off her heels and picked them up! Knowing that the machete would soon be free Clara had to think fast! Had to get some distance!

She looked up to see a branch over head!

“Alright..”

Clara jumped up and grabbed on to the branch! She quickly flipped up on it

Uncle looked up at her surprised

(“She is surprisingly agile”)

Clara smirked and thought to herself

(“Those pole dancing lessons sure helped”)

Her moment of relief would be short lived as Uncle quickly gets up to the branch!

Just as Uncle raises his arm for a swing, Clara does something he doesn’t expect!

She chucks her heeled slipped at him!

Uncle slashes the machete to deflect the incoming projectiles but just as he does so Clara rushes him and gets a grip on his wrist!

“Gotcha now old man!”

“Hrgh!”

Uncle grunted and tried to wrestle away from her but the Princess was surprisingly strong…well he was not as strong as he used to be but still!

She fought for control for the machete…

However, both would lose their footing and fall off the high branch together! As they smacked the ground the machete fell tumbled away from both of them! As they recovered they momentarily glanced at each other and each made a dash for the weapon

Clara momentarily gets the lead when Uncle suddenly sweeps her leg causing her to fall! As he pulls ahead Clara grabs him by the ankle and bites it causing him to fall

“AIYAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!”

Uncle looked back at the Princess who had a fierce look in her eye! He tried kicking her off but she wouldn’t let go! A fresh cut causes blood to cake on her head…she looked kinda scary actually!

Uncle Chan reached for the machete but Clara manages to pull herself up and get closer to it…

…but ultimately the old man grabbed on to it first! He swung back at the princess who barely managed to roll back to her feet, only to see the old man charge forth with no hesitation! This was his chance…

So Clara did the only thing she could do or cared to think to do!

She met his charge with her own hoping to strike first to stop!

Uncle swung the blade and Clara swung one of her fists

…

The blade lodged in Clara’s left forearm..

…While her right hook met Uncle’s face!

Uncle, in a daze, dropped the machete, but Clara was still running on pure adrenaline!

Bleeding heavily from her wounded arm and head she immediately did a twisting motion and swiped up the blade with her good hand!

As she finished her spin the blade slashed out striking Uncle Chan across the chest! The world seemed like it was going in slow motion as a stream of blood splattered outward!

Uncle stood there dumbstruck for a few moments as the Princess winced and fell to her knee…then Uncle fell to his back!

. . .

Clara weakly held her bleeding arm and was starting to feel woozy. She stumbled over to the old man who was lying in a pool of his own blood

“Pretty…good…”

Clara winced, she wasn’t feeling too good in any sense right now.

Clara wanted to say something more but only managed to get out

“Toughest old fart I ever had the privilege of fighting!”

Uncle weakly chuckled and then grew silent. Clara looked on at the defeated man

…There was no fire to incinerate this defeated tribute.

… Uncle Chan began to softly glow.

…His body would disappear into sakura petals, carried away by a gentle wind!

Clara then fell to her knees…yeah she was feeling really woozy now.

…Then she passed out.

“Rise and shine sleeping beauty!”

Clara lurched up suddenly

“WHA WHO WHUZZA! What the hell happened? Am I dead? Where’s Jesus!?”

Three strange men stood before her now

“Oh…you missed him by a couple games.”

Clara tilted her head

“Whaa?”

Clara then noticed that she wasn’t in pain. She looked herself over to notice her injuries had vanished! The man known as John smiled

“Oh of course we took care of those pesky wounds! Anyway, congratulations! You’ve won this B8 Hunger Games!”

Clara blinked for a few moments and got up

“HELL YEAH! I FUCKING DID IT!! WOOOHAAHAA ah heh…hold on. What about that old man and the others! I swear if you were fucking with me”

Snake sighed and snapped his fingers. A small magical orb floated down in front of Clara which showed Uncle Chan managing his shop accompanied by Jackie Jade and Tohru.

“Heh…well that’s good at least. So what now huh?”

Another man spoke up

“Well now you get to enjoy the spoils of victory and we return you home! Although keep in mind that as Champion of this games you may one day be called again for a Grand Battle against all the other Champions before and after you”

Clara looked down and found that she had her slippers again

“Are you kidding me?”

The man shrugged

Clara groaned and awoke to the morning sun…

…Had it all been a dream?

Well it definitely was a strange one!

Clara got up and found an empty bottle of alcohol next to her….man.

As she dusted herself off she rounded the corner to find...a wondrous sight

“Ohohoho!”

Clara jumped and down with joy

A gold plated carriage pulled by diamond horses lied before her! Within was a group of handsome men and a ton of gold and jewels

She immediately hopped as the other housemates ran outside to the sight! The Producer of the show stood among them

“What the hell I didn’t authorize this!”

Clara flipped off the producer and her housemates

“Later assholes!”

The carriage pulled away with the princess

Yeah that went on waaaaaaaaaaaay longer than it should have. Next time I try running it gotta be sure to do it quicker / consistent while I have the urge for it going. Then again the next game theme seems way more fun to me than this one (I already thought of switching things up with it). Might do it sometime in August if I am feeling up to it or if I just get the urge earlier again

I'll be heading on vacation this weekend so maybe when I get back I might start the next one (as I said I find the theme more amusing as I can just go even more ham with it if I feel like it. I also had a thing with the noms where the nominators have to write why they hate the character they are nominating (maybe with a bonus depending on how the game played out)

as for other hosts well I wanted to see what I could do with hatred so maybe for match 23 depending on what theme is selected. Unsure how collab would work (well I mean I could send the general summary and work from there) but if any would make use of it it would probably be match 24 as I think that was planned to be a 48 man match and that would be a lot of shenanigans
