Boring. Boring boring boring boring boring. 20 years of a paper-thin character have really worn me out. There are so many great characters in wrestling history. Too bad that most of them have had a short shelf-life.

Emily Kaldwin (Dishonored series)

Rating: 73/100
I would have liked to see her grow as a human being in between the first and second games, and that prevents her from reaching the heights of her custodian. However, she's great in any era. Just lacking a certain something... perhaps the bond I would have created if I had experienced more of her life.

She's supposed to be hated. That's the mark of a good villain. Unfortunately for me, she doesn't have good heat. She has X-Pac heat. She has go-home heat. I dislike reading about her. I would prefer to do other things.

I've always loved Samus, although The Other M really did hurt my opinions of her. It's just too hard to block out an entire installation of a franchise when there aren't that many of them. Batman would have a much easier time glossing over a bad outing. Samus, who was for a long time my favorite female video game character, has lost a bit of ground with that misstep.

Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase

Rating: 96/100
In wrestling, I've yet to encounter a better heel than Ted DiBiase. He tapped into something so primal and timely in the late 80s. He was a juiced version of Gordon Gekko and it worked. Even though he was essentially a caricature and not a character, he played the role so well that it didn't matter. You could believe him. And in wrestling, in that particularly goofy universe where nothing felt real, I could hate DiBiase. I could believe he was a villain. I liked to root against him. But I also loved to watch him. His bombastic attitude and his trademark laugh are the stuff of legends. This is why wrestling now can't truly reach the heights of yesteryear. DiBiase was given bullet points and allowed to fill in the blanks. He capitalized on that in a way only a true million dollar man could capitalize.

I really could never get into this show. There are just too many eccentric people solving crimes out there for me to really care. Numb3rs was one of the first, I guess. And I always love seeing Bernard in a TV show or movie, don't get me wrong. But I just.. don't care. I don't like crime shows. Any procedural show for the most part is going to lose my interest. Paint by numbers. No pun intended.

If you want the comic books, you'll need to say Marvel Comics or DC Comics. Otherwise I'm going to assume you mean what you post in those situations just because of how I classify them.

In this instance, I'm assuming you mean the comics based on that last comment.

Rating: 46/100
Guy has been relying on one or two good runs over 50 years of appearances. Wilson Fisk is just not that interesting outside of a few stories which really highlight Daredevil more than Fisk himself. He's also fat, and I'll admit I'm usually biased in fiction against the fats.
