Chris (flavor, that is) actually makes a lot of sense as SK. Much moreso than untargetable-- Chris may have quit at the end but he was there for 90% of the game, and I'd say because a lot of players quit saying Chris is far and away king quitter to have the role doesn't make sense. And do you know how many players Chris made quit mercenaries 4? SK is a great match.

I still think Lopen as SK would be cooler but I think Chris as SK is more accurate to game events, as despite hating the admins and wanting to kill them at times I did nothing of the sort. Honestly just leaving Chris out of the game entirely has some merit since he took his ball and went home too (that's probably what I'd do if I was flavoring this game but I am bitter) so it's not out of the question that he'd be on the safelist either for me.

I like my vote staying on the Ulti lynch here in any case. I do think it's probably more likely he's SK as I think his scumtells thus far would apply equally as SK and yeah the flavor fitting as well as it does is probably more likely than safelist Sir Chris.

Also Oddity is scummy entirely because of stuff early in the first day to me.

1. Called Chris "lacking conviction" and "not ragey" off literally two posts.
2. Random post asking if a player is in the game rather than just looking at the player list.

Also his voting trends seemed kinda scummy to be honest-- he piled on me when I started to get momentum, then bailed immediately when I started to lose it, for relatively flimsy reasons on both ends I feel. And I feel like it's been exceptionally hard to get anyone to even acknowledge that I've made an argument against him, whereas with most other players I've shown any interest in have had at least people say "that's interesting" or something else.

That being said he hasn't really jumped out at me since-- maybe because he's keeping his head down.

That's the problem, he's not inactive and yet still is under the radar. He posted a lot early but once the game took off and people started going at each other he kind of retreated into the shadows. It is pretty suspicious and I could get behind that lynch.

I'm here and reading. I just haven't been saying much because I have kind of been out and about.

What I would like is for the people that have been suspecting Miz to post some quotes regarding their attack on him. I want tangible proof. The reason I ask this, they seem to be saying a lot of things that Miz defends by saying that it just isn't true. Yet, I keep seeing him ask for it and they just keep going back at him. I think it's Kanz and death, maybe Johnbob. I will reread a little and point out the specific things I want responded to.

Seriously, Death was all upset with my Lopen defense and Oddity even voted me for it. Then Oddity completely ignored Jaded doing the same thing and Death ignored VI defending Scare. Death at least admitted it but Oddity was like "well Jade is new and he doesn't set off my scum senses"

Catching up (and have missed a good chunk of topic 2 which apparently boasted a showstopping Ulti/Corrik fight that I will need to catch up on). There are also like three pages in this topic that I haven't fully read yet, but still starting here because the past couple days have convinced me that I do not have time to both fully read and post meaningful content. Either I am safe listed or I am totally the untargetable serial killer. I know it is considered bad to bring up serial killers but it totally fits the flavor let's be real.

I am bringing this up immediately because this, right here, the supposition that Ulti might be a SK untargetable makes more sense to me than most things posted about Ulti and his Sir Chris flavor all game. In my last post I hastily said that I accepted the Untargetable claim from Ulti for the time being, and my reasoning behind that was

because I felt it didn't make sense for scum to claim Untargetable when, based off of discussion from other players, Untargetable tends to go to a scum role as opposed to a town one. Didn't seem like good play to me to claim it especially when there were other options that might jive better with the Sir Chris flavor (like PGO or whatever).

One sticking point I had was that it didn't make sense to me that a Town Untargetable would claim so early; Ulti has been very vocal about his flavor since Day 1 went up, and then he just went out and claimed Untargetable. But this point was somewhat adressed for me when it was pointed out that balance-wise, there was probably something more to the Untargetable role, like a role-blocking thing or limited usage, or whatever. This is why I was willing to accept the Ulti claim for what it was at that point.

Hence, I decided to accept the claim with some caveats.

But Ulti as an Untargetable SK, this makes sense to me. I can see it flavor-wise (which is something that has bothered me perhaps too much with the Sir Chris flavor...shouldn't be worrying about flavor I don't even really know), and also helps to explain why Ulti started dropping hints about his role to begin with, to establish himself as Town power as opposed to unaligned.

Going to finish reading the last 3 pages of this current topic and delve a little bit into the Corrik/Ulti thing that apparently happened in Topic 2 before throwing a vote down.

Anyway bad news for Ulti, I have free time. RIP.

1) His flavor does not make sense - so says every person who was in depth involved in Mercs.

2) His play does not make sense from a town perspective. I actually think this does make sense, in a vacuum, from a scum one though. Get it out there early that you are untargetable, don't claim under the gun or forced and try to get ahead of the role so you can live deep into the game. If Ulti ever got targeted (likely, he is Ulti and someone would poke him) his status would eventually become known and as the role is usually scum it'd face immense scrutiny. By drunkenly getting through his claim he tries to control the narrative.

3) Ulti is being lynched at some point this game, might as well do it day one. I know that sounds brutal but with no way of being scanned Ulti is just going to build suspicion. If he is somehow town and Gravy threw a wrench into the works, it's going to bite us in the ass anyway. I don't see anyone going "Oh yeah, totally going to defend that Ulti guy forever" or anything. He'll be kept around and stir the pot but the thing is we have plenty of pot stirrers already, we don't need another one and with the dubious way he has played today he has got to go.
