It's still Final Fantasy. Highest number of great games, and no really terrible entries in the main series.

Xenosaga's got three great-to-amazing games, Final Fantasy has got 3-4 amazing, many good, and many mediocre ones. I don't see how FF beats Xenosaga.

FF beats Xenosaga because Xenosaga has zero (0) amazing games.

That's my bad opinion and I'm sticking with it.

if you include all Xeno_ games it has a chance. Gears and Blade are better than all the Saga games.

I'm liking Disgaea. It's so quirky and breaks a bunch of common RPG tropes. And the level of depth is ridiculous.

Main series Pokémon.

It is the only JRPG series without a game I didn't enjoy playing and the level of enjoyment has been consistent throughout the years (extremely high).

Final Fantasy is a good runner up. A few crap entries doesn't hold back the greatness this series once had.

And the Chrono series, as someone pointed out, is 2 for 2. I hope there is a third some day.

Wouldn't even put ff in the top 5. Smt wins out here, for new series etrian odyssey is great and 3 for 3. Final fantasy just really doesn't belong here. Tales of is more worthy there.
