Not even close! If they did 6 matches a week every Impact, the series would be done by the end of August!

They absolutely have time to do the entire series on television; 66 matches with a 10 minute time limit on each is only 11 hours of wrestling and that's if every match goes to time which will hardly ever happen, while counting last week they have 34 hours of Impact and 9 hours of PPV before BFG.

You realize that the series ends at No Surrender on 9/9. It's called the BFG Series because the winner GOES ON to Bound For Glory.

Seriously, that was appalling. I've rarely seen a dick crowd so negatively affect a match.

Finlay was in there crafting a story about how Elgin had the strength advantage but Finlay has such a HUMONGOUS experience edge that Elgin had never experienced his tricks before and was slowly breaking Elgin down. It was glorious.

Crowd eventually got SO restless that they just kinda gave up at the end and turned the last 3 minutes into an unrelated power battle and left the previous ring work unresolved.

The crowd just COULD NOT handle a match moving at an '80s pace.

To be fair, some of the crowd fought back, but then that just kinda made things worse because then it was a crowd fighting each other verbally and completely ignoring the match.

The thing about Malenko/Benoit is that had the not done two five minute overtimes, and just had one ten minute overtime, the bikers probably wouldn't have started booing them.

i can see it. outside of just doing the full match stiff, steen/elgin wasn't gonna light fires.

i was however hoping they'd do that, ala Finley/Sami. and if they DID do that, then it seems clear to me that by my missing a show the crowd got worse.

The match was definitely stiff but the strikes were the transitions.

It was built around Finlay's technical ability outclassing Elgin. Finlay was being smart and sneaky, not brave and stupid.
