I know! Does the enemy literally just not attack on easy mode? That's the only way it could be any easier.
Apparently the levels get lower and the AI makes more mistakes from what I've been reading. So I imagine something like this:

*Heracross has 1HP*
*Enemy Pokemon uses Screech*

Or for full opposite battle frontier AI, instead of hitting critical hits all the time, it will miss all the time.

As am I. I actually love Emerald. The only thing I'm lukewarm on is its rivals. One of them literally gives up midway and the other is Wally.

All the sea route complaints never really fazed me. I love the weird places like Pacifidlog and that town with the treehouses and whatnot, as well as the cool Groudon/Kyogre weather-is-f***ed showdown. Really love Emerald.

Wally ends up with one of the best Pokemon in the series so I can forgive him. If the other rival didn't give up I'd be pretty happy with Gen 3's rivals. That's something they should fix in the remake.

Gardevoir is so great. I recently did a B/W playthrough with one that started off as an unhatched Ralts egg. It ended up destroying the B/W Elite 4 almost entirely by itself.

I can't see there being a 3rd version of B/W2 so the next Pokemon will likely either be Gen 3 remakes or Gen 6.

They'd probably want their first 3DS game to be a new experience so I expect we'll see RSE remakes later in the 3DS lifespan.

Aaah yeah Gardevoir's love, she's my favorite Pokémon. Destroys everything in normal play.

Had a level 100 EV Trained one in Platinum but I think I lost the save or something, it's gone now.

One of my first EV trained Pokemon was a Gardevoir. I brought him over to each new game to take on various Battle Towers, although he's now completely outclassed.

Apparently Challenge Mode gives gym leaders an extra Pokemon, which is cool.

Hopefully it can be used right from the start! That would make my planned nuzlocke even funner!

I kind of would too, but just thinking about what will rake in more money, at least in America, it's going to be RBY. It's been 8 years since FR/LG was released and now if someone only owns a DSi/XL or a DS, they don't have access to those games anymore. People like starting at the beginning of something, so kids would buy it and people like Nostalgia, so even someone who got FR/LG would buy it so they can fight Brock with Charmander again. Meanwhile, RSE had the worst critical acclaim of the series, and doesn't have as wide of a nostalgia appeal. R/B/Y/FR/LG is never going to show up for digital download, so they're more likely to appeal to the masses than to us OCD nerds who still own a GBA/DS Phat and FR/LG.

Though I must admit I would ultimately prefer an Electric Yellow and Sky Emerald to both be released. There's really no need for two versions of remakes, so just release the third version and make it so that between the remakes and the new games every Pokemon is available in at least one of them.

That is a really good point though, Emerald really outclasses Ruby and Sapphire by quite a bit. I never have and never will play Ruby and Sapphire, just having seen an LP years after doing Emerald.
