Other amusing notes:

All of those games have had unique representatives except for FFIX (as mentioned, three characters make up their eight spots) and FFX (two characters make up their three spots). FFX is also the only game to have had a complete domination of the finals (CII - Lulu vs Auron).

I'm pretty pleased with most of those stats actually.

Squall and Zell should be switched, Cloud and Aerith should switch, Galuf should be much higher, and Porom should be much lower.

yep. the 2 best playable characters in FFIV are second-last and third-last - and Rubicante aka best character in the game being in the bottom half is also terrible


but oh well keeping FF4 characters alive is up to FF4 fans, and to be be an FF4 fan you've gotta have bad taste so this should be expected!

Yeah FFIV is probably the worst overall, but Cecil being number 1 is pretty awesome.
