Well their first 2 years they had weekly PPVs so that would take awhile, but I would read it. I didn't follow them until the Main Event Mafia in late '08 grabbed my attention.

I was reading up on Wikipedia about the history of Jim Crockett Promotions before he sold it to Ted Turner, and this line amused me:
JCP also flushed away a potentially profitable angle following the acquisition of Bill Watts's UWF by having their superstars bury the UWF's talent and treat the UWF's titles as being second-rate.
Sound familiar?

All I've learned from this is that if you chose Billy as your ring name you are doomed to mediocrity.

* Jinder Mahal defeated Derrick Bateman via submission.
* Percy Watson defeated Heath Slater.
* Maxine defeated Alicia Fox.
* Great Khali & Ezekiel Jackson defeated Drew McIntyre and Johnny Curtis.
SUPERSTARS
Last night
1. WWE Tag Champions R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeated JTG and Michael McGillicutty. Truth pinned JTG.
2. Zack Ryder defeated Heath Slater. Ryder won with the Rough Ryder. Pretty good crowd thus far.
Tonight
* Antonio Cesaro defeated Tyson Kidd in a great match. Kidd did a neckbreaker off the top rope that looked sick.
SMACKDOWN
* Smackdown starts with Eve Torres coming out on behalf of John Laurinaitis. Alberto Del Rio comes out asking to face Sheamus for the World title at No Way Out. Randy Orton, then Kane came out as well pleading their case and demanding a shot at the title.
* WWE Intercontinental champion Christian defeated Hunico.
* Titus O'Neil and Darren Young defeated The Usos.
* Cody Rhodes cut a promo on getting the IC title back.
* Ryback, sporting a black eye, defeats two wrestlers.
* They air a promo announcing Sin Cara will return next week.
* WWE United States champion Santino Marella defeated Ricardo Rodriguez.
* Sheamus came out and acted as if he was going to apologize for running through John Laurinaitis on Raw but of course, in the end, he didn't.
* World champ Sheamus defeated Jack Swagger in a good match with the Brogue Kick.
* Damien Sandow defeated Yoshi Tatsu with the neckbreaker.
* Alberto Del Rio b. Randy Orton & Kane in a triple threat match to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Daniel Bryan went to ringside once again to distract the already-injured Kane, which gave Orton an opportunity to hit Kane with an RKO. Del Rio broke up the pin and pinned Kane himself for the victory. Sheamus came out after the match and laid Del Rio out with a Brogue Kick to end the show.

Hey, WWF did not bury the Titles at least. The US Title was bigger than the IC title during the Invasion, the CW actually survived killing of the LH, and the WCW Title was just as big, if not bigger than the WWF.
It did main-event Summerslam over the WWF Title, but that's in large part because of it being Rock's big return match, and because it was the only one of the title matches that night with the triumphant babyface finish.
It was lower than the WWF Title on every other show, but hey, the WCW Champion did beat the WWF Champion to end the Alliance.

Here's a list of all the current male WWE Superstars who have not won a Championship. I'll put them in three tiers: "has had a title shot," "has not had a title shot," and "debuted in 2012" (since newbies probably deserve a bit more leeway).
You tell me who among these groups will ever hold any WWE gold
Alex Riley Hunico Jey Uso Jimmy Uso JTG Mason Ryan Sin Cara Yoshi Tatsu ___________________ Brodus Clay Darren Young Jinder Mahal Johnny Curtis Ryback Titus O'Neil Trent Barreta Tyler Reks ___________________ Antonio Cesaro Camacho Damien Sandow
Have at it
EDIT: Had to move a couple Sin Caras from Group B to Group A. Figures I would botch Sin Caras!

Cody Rhodes a potential challenger for CM Punk's title, and Chris Jericho and William Regal continue to go at it on Twitter. Can someone confirm for me that they don't actually hate each other and are just having fun?
As for that list,
Sin Cara ___________________ Brodus Clay Darren Young Ryback Titus O'Neil ___________________ Antonio Cesaro Damien Sandow
Wasn't sure whether to count the WWE Tag Titles since they're copper instead of gold.

<p>From: GTM | #291 I mostly said Bateman and not Watson because Bateman at least appeared on SD to get squashed by Ryback >_>;</p> That was a tryout match he won on NXT months ago that they finally cashed in, not a promotion. <_<

<p>From: GTM | #293 His tshirt is a work?</p> Everyone who ordered it is gonna get a package in a few weeks containing the money they spent, minus shipping.
<p>From: Jakyl25 | #297 Regal has done some storyline stuff on Twitter, most notably with Reks and Ambrose.</p> But what's the benefit for Jericho to have a Twitter feud with Regal? Like when Reks or Ambrose e-feud with a guy like Regal, it makes some people actually notice they exist and become curious about them. Are Jericho and Regal just doing this because Jericho likes sadistically screwing with his fans and Regal agreed to help?
