It's probably a contender for best in terms of usefulness even if it does break the game though. Rankings: Yuffie > Barret > Cid > Red XIII > everybody else was bottom tier I haven't played it in 10 years and though I tell myself and some others I might replay it eventually to see if I feel any differently about the game I really doubt I would.
