Oh yeah, so the other day I was at work, going on last.fm listening to some Japanese stuff for whatever reason, and Lotus Juice randomly popped (a non-Persona song), so took a look at his page and saw this:
In the anime Soul Eater, he rapped in the tracks Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Have a Nice Dream, Death The Kid, PSYCHEDELIC SOULJAM, and STEP UP.
I must say that I was surprised since I watched all of Soul Eater back then without even knowing that! And that was more or less during the time I was playing P3.

Sankarea finished since apparently there was only 12 episodes, instead of the 13 we all thought. Not a very strong finale, it's perfectly clear that the manga didn't end here, pretty much nothing has been finished, so unless they somehow get to do a season 2 this is a joke. Sankarea had an amazing setup for it's plot. The first 3-4 episodes were amazing and I really thought show of the season was right before my eyes, but it didn't work out that way at all, and while I have been enjoying the show in its later episodes, it really dropped big time, and that's a real shame.

Majikoi read. Ooh, Miyako route material? lol Chris. XD Gakuto. Oh hey, he remembered the promise early this time. MIYAKO'S A WHAT? Oh, wait, he didn't remember his promise after all. False alarm.
Man, now I'm pumped even more for Miyako route, and the translator site is gone. Why do I do this to myself? >_<

Aww, I lost to SuperNiceDog, Winner of the Rivalry Rumble Guru Contest
I gave out two tens so far this season, making it just a wonderful season in my eyes
Sakamichi no Apollon a.k.a Kids on the Slope
This was just a beautiful work of fiction. It had great serious story, with great romance AND bromance and was just touching. It hit all of my josei sweet spots with the painful twisting romance moments and the ever-sweet coming of age stuff. The music scenes were incredibly well-done, easily justifying the decision to watch the anime over the manga original. It also managed to do a full adaptation in a single season the only flaw in my mind is that there was a lot of time and energy devoted to the Junichi sideplot and lets face it no one cared.
Still, I find myself wanting to look up the manga and read this and I just finished watching it and I dont read manga. That's a sure sign of a ten if ever i saw one.
Natsuiro Kiseki a.k.a The Summer-Colored Miracle
Now HOLD ON, yes this is literally a show starring 4 middle school girls who at some point go to a beach, a hot spring, and school. But let's set all of that aside. That's not what this show is about. It appears to have all the trappings of your typical Slice of Life show, but it is in reality a very well constructed coming of age show (with the final episode being a nearly perfect metaphor for that). The individual "miracles" were all very well done and almost without fail served to explore the relationships between the four girls and how this group of best friends, Saki, Natsumi, Rin, and Yuka, deals with one of them moving away after this, their final summer together. The group has this girlhood dream of becoming idols which got set on the backburner as they got older, but now suddenly, knowing they are out of time, make a real push for.
It is a sweet story, with some of the most actualized characters a show like this has ever gotten and in the end I laughed, I cried, I wished for more.
9:
Kimi to Boku 2 aka You and Me 2
The bros were back. And they were better than ever. There's not much to say here except that it was in every way a great continuation of the original and in many ways was a simple extension of the ongoing plotlines from that anime. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 was the inordinate focus FREAKING MARY got.
8:
Medaka Box
Man its a literal shounen. Straight from WSJ. And its nowhere near done and may in fact be better as a manga. I have begun reading it from where it left off. It is fun because Medaka is a good lead, a total inversion of the Mary Sue archetype. The ridiculous parodyesque fight scenes towards the end was incredible and I actually like the main 4 and the ridiculous Medaka fanservice.
Tsuritama
I was hooked from the OP alone, and know the dance off by heart now. It had a few pretty slow episodes but it gave a pretty awesome finale and of course had the best 4way bromance this side of the first 3 episodes of You and Me. The fishing scenes with both instructive and ridiculous (ENOSHIMA BOWL) and of course the dark secret between DUCK Curry was much the same. Pretty satisfying best noitamina block weve had in around a year. Keep it coming guys.

Also your writeup for Kimi to Boku sucks, do a better job of explaining why it's good yo.

Also KtB2 is good for all the reasons KtB1 was. Thats why i said "theres not much to say" because were all familiar with the first season

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia a.k.a Dusk Maiden of Amnesia
The creme de la creme of the Girlfriend trio, mostly by way of its devotion to its own concept and because it wasnt centered around a drool fetish. I like to pretend the finale ended a few seconds before it did because i like that better. At its surface it has the most typical characters of the 3....well aside from Oyonogi who is amazing from the get-go. The background behind our ghost girl was pretty entertaining and interesting and...the decision of our protag to continue dating the ghost after that was...intriguing to say the least. Felt pretty satisfying though, which is more than I can say for Sankarea.....
7: Kore-wa Zombie Desu ka OF THE DEAD a.k.a Is it a Zombie? OF THE DEAD
Mo Zombies Mo Problems. This was again the best Zombie-themed of the season. Lots of fanservice, more magical girl shenanigans and of course more vampires than you can shake a stick at. It was funny, aesthetically pleasing and the action scenes were solid. That said it lacked a certain charm S1 had.
6: Jormungand a.k.a Jormungand
Her name is koko she is loco i say OH NO.
Ok so that little ditty is literally the best part of the show. I really wanted to like this one because its so different from your ordinary fare but it was so segmented and episodic that it really felt like nothing happened. The 2 parter that ended the show was great, but it was a little too little too late to raise my opinion of this one too far. Koko was eccentric but by this point eccentric characters are common enough that she was eccentric in a cliched way. Yikes.
4: Sankarea a.k.a. WHY THE HELL DIDNT I DROP THIS
GOD this show was terrible. It does all of the things anime shouldnt do. Sudden and unprovoked tone shifts? check. Starts off looking interesting and fades to bland as time goes on? check Far superior girl not being the main girl? check. Literal pedophilia? Check. Left the anime hanging with 0 resolution as it is clear the manga is still ongoing? check Literal rape scenes and the odd insertion of fetishes at weird times? check.
God maybe I should go back and lower this score more.
The concept here was interesting and the first couple episodes always left me hoping this thing would rebound as it headed inexorably into a pit of anti-quality.I hope the fans of this series are given a pre-frontal lobotomy, because it will leave them with the same taste they already possess.

I'm not even saying any of the characters are good. I'm just saying Yuuko is literally the worst character in the show. Teiichi sucks too and the rest are whatever which beats being awful.
We're watching the same thing, but since we have completely different tastes we see it differently. You see all of Yuuko's stuff as entertaining and I just see her wrecking any atmosphere the series ever attempts. I guess she can't ruin the dumb comedy it attempts, but that's about it.
my post had nothing to do with if you think it's entertaining or not. Even if you hate the show, Yuuko is involved in like 95% of it and like almost all of the issues and situations are caused by her.
There's no denying she's involved in a lot of it, but nothing is interesting or entertaining. Even all the mysteries around her end up being dumb. I don't even know why I haven't dropped it. It's worse than other shows I did drop this season.
I think swordz9 just usually dislikes what most people likes. I mean, he probably decided not to like it in advance, but surely that was because it looked good. It's the same when it comes to WSJ series. He likes pretty much everything except for the two most successful of them.

If I decided to not like it in advance I wouldn't have even watched it or dropped it immediately like I did with other stuff this season. Those 2 manga being successful is just a coincidence. I quit liking Naruto not long after the time skip since the author literally ruined anything good about it. As for One Piece I just wasn't able to get into it. It seems I have to mention I don't hate it literally thousands of times because not loving it somehow means I hate it.
