My first rewatch of an anime is now almost complete, I've been rewatching Code Geass and it's really made me see many sorts of lights I didn't see the first time around. Including the reason R2 was a train wreck, as the creators called it.

So I've heard, but it's not a hit as far as sales go. I was talking about the huge 40,000+ ones. Something doesn't have to sell well to be good and likewise just because something sells well it doesn't mean it's good.

That's what people say when the stuff they like don't sell.

Nyaruko was projected to break 10k. That's a hit. Not as big as something like K-on, but breaking 10k is the sweet spot.

It's not a sequel. It's a direct continuation of the first season. It literally did not start at episode 1.

Just because they don't start it at an 'episode 1' doesn't mean that it's not part of a new season. Ever watch any shows not made in Japan?
They're just going with a different numbering scheme, one that's more normal outside of Japan for separate seasons.

And new seasons always revert back to episode 1.

And if you want to get technical about it, F/Z is sold in a box set which breaks 50k for the first box. You can divide the episodes into volumes and we can pretty much wind up where we are now.

Fate/Zero won't be officially counted in the sales for the 2nd cour, since its a continuation. Kinda like how a 24 episode series isn't counted in the 2nd cour.

It might be counted by some sites that track sales and all, but not by Oricon.

Granzon can't take that logic back to the shounen anime topic after he has betrayed us.

He is about the fact that those rankings he posted wont include it, even if it is kinda stupid. Though I must say that by far the most amercian shows does not revert back to episode 1. They might call it season 2 episode 1 (201), but that's still not the same.

alright since I'm really excited for the new season, despite it looking subpar, here is what I'm definitely going to check out

Binbougami ga! - It sounds like it could be either badass or funny but this looks prime drop material

Blood Lad - enough said

Chouyaku Hyakuninisshu: Uta Koi. - Sounds vaguely interesting but I'm pretty confident it'll just be boring

Ebiten: Kouritsu Ebisugawa Koukou Tenmonbu - The premise sounds either hilarious or terrible but apparently the writer also wrote this deep and meaningful porn game meisnewbie is obsessed with so maybe there'll be more to it.

Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita - Sounds kind of interesting and the writer wrote Cross Channel which is awesome

Joshiraku - SZS is pretty entertaining but I can't help that wish this was being done by Shaft too.

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate - I'm kind of hesitantly interested in this since you never know when a drama/romance is going to be good or just stupid. It'll probably be the latter but I'll watch it anyway.

Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru! - This should be hilarious as long as they keep the sister secret until the end. If it's revealed in the first episode or something, it's going to be stupid. swordz9 I'm telling you right now you have to declare your favorite girl and then be ashamed once she's revealed as the sister.

Moyashimon Returns - Started watching S1 and it's pretty good.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse - The beginning of the VN was literally worse than watching paint dry but this is apparently going to get into the good stuff right away.

Natsuyuki Rendezvous - GranzonEx apparently thinks this is a yaoi show. Enough said.

Rinne no Lagrange Season 2 - First season was good and this will probably be more badass.

Sword Art Online - I hated what I saw of Accel World but this sounds more serious and grimdark aka I can feel better about myself watching it

Tari Tari - Sounds similar to Hansaku which I liked a lot

Yuru Yuri 2 - hot
