I still haven't forgiven MGS2 for that match with SotC. Really thought it had saved my battle points when it took the lead in the final hour... only to choke it away. :(

Praise the Black Turtle, Game of the Decade Guru Champ. (Well, I never promised creativity, did I?!)
this match should be thought of as one of the 5 best of all time. hugely strong opponents, unpredictable trends, huge comebacks, a big upset to the usual balance of the contest, dead even for 12 hours straight -- and yet very few people really care. I guess that's because there's no brackets on the line, but still. CT vs. LTTP wasn't this close or this unpredictable and that match had people reloading like crazy all night.
Mario tonight... I have no idea. this 10/5/1% thing is going to be the death of me.

Link with 59 - 60 % Risking everything I have that's more than allen's points with an all-out straight pick on that
anyway, this match is unbelievable. I've been refreshing all day long. I've been refreshing on my phone and on here. I'm SHOCKED there isn't more discussion
Where you at board 8???

Speaking of good matches, I still feel TF2/Fable getting forgotten as one of our better matches is a travesty >_>
I know it was two weak opponents and had minimal contest significance, but that was a damn match.
Huh, that 19 vote lead maintained through the update.

Will not remove this line of my signature until the Seahawks, Jazz or Rockies win a title (Started 5-16-09) This line reserved for the Guru winner (TBD)
Honestly, a match just being close the whole time isn't all that exciting. Huge comebacks are where the excitement is at. It's one of the reasons I don't like 12-hour matches as much. You've killed the potential for big comebacks when you cut the match in half and effectively eliminate trends.

The fact that this is tied, combined with the fact that this may have the highest votals of any poll this contest, really shows that good bracket making could have saved this one. I mean, it wouldn't have been great, but it would have been a LOT better. This is one of the best matches ever, and if the trainers pull it off, it'd at least be my number 1.
You might even say it would be the very best, like no one ever was.

From: nintendogirl1 | #292 From: BlAcK TuRtLe | #284 Wouldn't it be funny if this ended closer than Frog/Liquid, but we can't count it because it's not an official contest poll.
