No shit, they've been working at this for decades, same with ending federally protected abortion rights. The other day a coworker said he "thought it was funny". I wish you well, TC, and that your parents are able to become more reasonable. Your fears aren't unjustified and more people should be concerned and raising the alarms. Though it was to no avail, I applaud you for trying to talk reason into your parents on the subject.
