This will make our law on the issue more similar to the other Nordic countries. 234 MPs voted yes, 93 voted no and 21 were absent. The four opposition parties (Socialdemocrats, Greens, Far-Left and Neoliberals) voted yes as well as two Government parties (Conservatives and Liberals). The Christian Democrats and the Governments support party the Sweden Democrats (Far-Right) voted no.
