| yillin 06/22/18 3:52:54 PM #6 | I used to work for lowes in this position. We unbox all the applicances in the morning and cut/bail all the cardboard before we head out on deliveries. We unbox them so we can see if there is any damage to the unit before we even bother bringing it out to you. 95% of people don't care. The other 5% flip out on you for opening their personal item. Good on this guy but I imagine one of a couple things took place here: 1) He had a short day so he had plenty of time to take care of this. 2) The store was close to the delivery location so it wasn't a problem to do this. 3) He took the time to do this and in turn pissed off his coworker because I don't see any mention of his riding buddy. You always ride at least two during delivery. The driver and the helper cause most deliveries require two people for safety reasons. Also like to point out that they are driving a Penske truck which means that one or more of their delivery trucks are broke down. --- There's a calm before the storm and the western front is quiet.
