So if your month ended with you owing $500 but at the current day you've used up $600 of your credit, only pay the $500. If you aren't paying off your entire monthly then you are also hurting your credit by letting it linger. Also you are costing yourself more money since you are generating interest on the remainder. Outside of that, paying off your credit isn't as damaging as closing a credit card itself. I've read and listened to stories of people having their credit hit because they were benefit chasers and once they got benefits from having a card they would close it. So you must've forgotten when California was burning down and trump refused to give aid relief to them. Remember he refused under the guise that California was mismanaging their responsibility to keep their forests clean, which when you look at the numbers was more likely a federal issue than a state issue since most of the forest burning down was federal woods. But, lets be honest with ourselves; He was only refusing because they are a blue state. Even when the nation tee'd him up to look patriotic and caring for his fellow citizens he still looked like a greasy overweight weasel who thought the federal purse was his own pocketbook.
