Initially I hadn't planned on seeing Fall, as I prefer the trailers for Beast but we'll probably end up seeing both in the near future.

There are tons of Thrillers on the way honestly. I'm excited to watch most of them, though I can't lie and say I'm a bit more hyped to catch the few "classic horror" movies that are coming out in the next couple of months too. I'm reserved about Halloween Ends, but I'm pretty enticed by Smile for sure.

Yeah, the ending twist was pretty incredible. We spent most of the film quietly talking to each other about who we thought the killer was, but then when the reveal comes you can feel it like in slow motion. It's like, "... oh... my... god really". Really, really great delivery. While I doubt the film invented the concept I give it big props for pulling it off as well as it did.

And how about the nod to Pete Davidson having the most punchable face ever, by having an unseen character already punch him in it before the film begins? I loved that

Surprisingly good, especially since I tend to not really like "horror comedy". Honestly I think it isn't truly a horror comedy in the sense of the genre tropes I associate that sort of title with. It obviously has some fun with modern day words and societal norms but it definitely isn't any sort of parody of the genre either, another thing I often associate horror comedies with.

Debating where I'd rank it on my yearly list. Honestly I think I'd wedge it in just above Nope, mostly because it kept me enthralled and interested throughout the entire film, which Nope kinda failed to do at the very end.
