Obviously everyone finds different things to be more difficult, but I've never heard anyone else say that the game is "brutally hard". Some of the optional bosses force you to hone your skills, but if you allocate charms properly, it has a pretty comfortable difficulty curve throughout. One big thing that adds to the atmosphere and makes things more difficult is the checkpoints and maps. Checkpoints are very sparse, and when you buy maps, they're incomplete and can't be updated until you hit a checkpoint. Yeah, you'll get a similar tone, but the actual meat of the game is significantly different. It's not really a reasonable complaint either way, at least to me. People not looking your nomination is a risk you run, and most people just switch over to something actually receiving support anyway. Maybe give 20 supports to work with? People missing phase 1 is also an unreasonable complaint. Can't even understand why people would fault the system for that. I do understand the length issue though. Just like it to only one nomination to be eligible for phase 2 and give people 15 to work with so the field isn't bloated.
