WotL actually has worse replayability than the original due to the removal of the JP scroll glitch.

Not only did they do that, but it uses the JP costs from the Japanese original, which where they differ from the NA version are more expensive. It also uses the Japanese job advancement tree, which requires you to grind an extra job level in some jobs to unlock the next one.

There is some new content, nothing mindblowing, but some of it is decent.

If you want to experience WotL, the ios/android versions are actually superior. They removed the slowdown.

This movie was brutal.

Here's a not necessarily exhaustive list of moments that evoked a STRONG emotional response from me:

- Thor forced to watch while Thanos murders his brother in front of him.

- Thor's conversation with Rocket about what he's lost.

- Gamora begging Quill to promise to kill her.

- Vision doing the same with Wanda.

- Flashback to Gamora's 'adoption' by Thanos.

- Gamora breaking down after she 'kills' Thanos.

- Thanos breaking Gamora by torturing Nebula.

- Gamora's death.

- Quill's utterly bewildered, "Did we lose???"

- FUCKING GROOT

- FUCKING SPIDER-MAN

- Watching the survivors stand there in complete shock, and all Captain America can do is say, "Oh God."

I can neither confirm nor deny that I may have teared up during more than one of those. All this with me knowing 110% that most of this is going to be undone.

I feel bad for people who are so completely unable to empathize with these characters that there wasn't at least one moment in this movie that moved them to feel something.

"Howl, howl, howl, howl! Oh, you are men of stones. Had I your tongues and eyes, I'd use them so that heaven's vault should crack."
