Avoid the eBooks / NeoWalker novels imo

For books, I'd start with the main series of Dominaria. The order for those are:

The Brothers' War
Planeswalker (one of my favorites)
Time Streams
Bloodlines

The Gathering Dark
The Eternal Ice
The Shattered Alliance

Mercadian Masques
Nemesis
Propehcy
(I hated this trilogy)

Invasion
Planeshift
Apocalpyse
(Great trilogy)

Odyssey
Chainer's Torment
Judgement

Onslaught
Legions
Scourge

Time Spiral
Planar Chaos
Future Sight
(The best trilogy but as stated above not a good one to start with since it's the conclusion of the story)

These stories all tie into each other. There are other good stories that would be more side books, but I'd read those all first.

Is there a tl;dr summary of these stories on the site, or does it only cover later stuff?

absolutely. but again, that's not what this argument is about.

you were arguing that republicans are being inclusive. i'm saying that i don't find constantly calling people you disagree with "dumb" to be all that inclusive. yes, saying someone is a nazi isn't even in the same category, but that's beside my point.

I think his point is that they are more inclusive to people who are conservative or conservative leaning. They are less likely to canabalize someone who is 90% on their side because they are liberal on one issue. the old argument about republicans falling in line. Yes, they will still talk shit about those people and call them RINOs, but at the end of the day they will still turn out to vote for them against an actual liberal.

that's not really the same thing - or at least that depends who the pro-lifers in that debate were. MWC and sephyg, aside from being pro-life, have a gazillion extreme, inflammatory and (i would say) ridiculous stances. so if they almost get called nazis i'm not convinced that's JUST because they expressed pro-life sentiments in a debate about abortion. (note: i'm not saying these two are nazis and it's ok to call them nazis. that's not the point i'm making.)

If those two were the only targets of this attitude, I wouldn't have even posted. But that attitude is thrown at the entire pro-life side.

so you're fine with illegal immigrants entering the US when they're from a warzone, rather than mexico?

No, but practically speaking I don't see a way for impoverished refugees on literally the other side of the world to get here without the assistance of the US government. Also worth noting that they would have to pass through multiple other non-warzone countries along the way where they could easily stop.

not sure what your point is. if it's that "home borders" do exist, that's not true because the government is still allowed to enter your home if they want to. in the hypothetical anarchist scenario, you have 100% control of who is allowed to enter your home. that's not the case now.

The point is that even if you eliminated all national borders today, it would not result in a policy of "anyone can cross the property lines along what used to be the US/Mexico border who feels like it."

Would they need to? There are no roads across the border? Oh no! Who would build the roads?

Here's more on the latest immigration developments. The DoJ has implemented a "zero tolerance" policy for any illegal border crossings. ALL persons found crossing the border are know being referred for criminal prosecution. As a result of this ALL children who cross the border are being separated from their parents, as their parents are now "criminals" who are "endangering" their own children by "smuggling" them.

All teachers should be armed and trained in the use of firearms. If they don't agree to do this, they have to "retire. "

Is this really that far off from mainstream conservative opinion that all schools must have some percentage of teachers with firearms training?

I'm not comfortable with the assumption that teachers (as opposed to SROs) being armed is yet a mainstream conservative opinion.

And even if it is, it's still quite a leap from that to making it mandatory for all teachers to be armed.
