| plasmabeam 12/31/21 8:38:10 PM #19 | 9.5/10 The fact that it managed to keep me engaged for 100+ hours speaks volumes. There was never a point in the story where I found my interest waning. Props to the writers for using a frame tale to give the story juice at the start (unlike 4, which opens at a snail's pace) and lasting intrigue all the way to Sae's palace. The main story, the side characters, the NPC confidants, the villains... almost all of them were memorable and strong. Only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because the early parts of the story are better than the later ones. --- ~Jacksonville Jaguars~ |

The only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger is my ridiculous backlog and the fact that Nintendo is weird about digital games (If my 3DS were to die on me, would I lose the games? Or are they tied to my account. I don't know what's what with Nintendo). Mr Crispy posted... I guess Soul Hackers is skippable if you aren't into the pre PS2 SMT games. Do I need to play the PS2 ones to appreciate Soul Hackers? Also, I'd HIGHLY recommend Radiant Historia to anyone who's on the fence. --- ~Jacksonville Jaguars~ |
