I'll give this another 7.

Lots of good ideas interspersed with some really questionable ones. I'm looking at you Blood Pact. The fact that Sanaki finds a loophole but it only frees up Naesala and not everyone else thereby eliminating a good chunk of the conflict in the midgame is very ???

There's a conversation (maybe a boss one, I forget) where in Part 4 where Naesala explains that by the letter of contract he's forced to obey Begnion and seeing as how Sanaki is the Empress she outranks the Senate so as long as he's listening to her he's still in compliance. Given that he *did* obey the Senate previously (and that's why Tibarn is pissed af at him) I figured it was a loophole Sanaki figured out and proposed to him pretty late in the game. So, like, I guess maybe she didn't realize it until it was too late to avert the whole thing with Daein but...
