I read the papers all the time. a chick got arrested for taking a piss in an alleyway behind a bar (who the f*** cares?) if I do 5 MPH over the speed limit, there's a chance I'm getting pulled over. just seems strange how I've always been told that touching someone in anyway can be deemed harassment or assault, yet no one was charged. Seems strange to me that in the same sentence you'll point out how ludicrous it would be for someone to receive the hard arm of the law over something minor, and at the same time complain about how ludicrous it is for someone to not receive the hard arm of the law over something minor. Little stuff like this gets taken at a case by case basis. It might be that they assessed there was no threat and this was just a minor domestic dispute best resolved by having a chat with all parties. This woman though, she wanted to keep me on the phone for half an hour to talk about how useless the intern is and how unforgivable it is that such a person could be put in charge of transactions and how the company is "a total shitshow" for allowing it. She continued down this track long after I fixed the problem and assured her we'd invest in more training. Thanks for wasting everybody's time, unnecessarily angry lady.
