I didn't really love the final boss and felt like he took a little too much damage. Other hard bosses felt difficult but I felt great when I overcame them, and some old school frustration when I messed up. I liked the game a lot, though I'm not into all the shinespark puzzles and sequence breaking and tech. I felt like the map was good though maybe a little too big and linear. Early on I spent 20 minutes lost before realizing I had to shoot walls, after that I rarely got lost. And yes, lots of doorkeys, skills I didn't use often, etc. But you know, I'm good with it. It's hard to make a good 2D search action game that you can justify selling for $60 in 2021. I think Nintendo did a good job here. And I really appreciated feeling weak and fragile early, and progressively getting stronger. Instead, they had to to regroup - imagine if they needed a TD. It's also a bad look that the refs were prepared to stop the clock for Seattle.
