Back to our previously scheduled weak divisions. I did not want to give +s to half the Pokemon I did, and would've happily given out more -s.

Huh, I really wasn't expecting this much diversity in votes. I fully expected a Gen I stomp, and I would've been on board for it.

Squirtle line, Starmie, Gyarados, Psyduck line, Horsea line, Seel, Tentacruel, Poliwhirl/wrath, Vaporeon, Cloyster, Slowpoke line, Krabby line, fossils, Lapras... literally every line except for Goldeen has at least one good member.

Like there's a plenty of good Water Pokemon throughout all generations, but none of them individually have nearly as many.

I > II > IX > VI > VII > III > VIII > V > IV

You could just call it now and give the Water win to Gen I.

If this means "you're halfway through your life", then I guess I'm probably fine with dying at 71. I don't foresee me having much going on by that point. Hopefully that'd be before my body and brain stop functioning due to being way too old.

Ended up voting for Gen VI, I loved using Aegislash to bits in-game, nearly nobody could deal with King's Shield. Klefki is not my favorite but at least it's got a pretty unique typing and moveset. The Megas are mostly not offensive.

Oh and in a ROM hack I used Eviolite Doublade extensively.

There's like 5 different Steel/Fairy types now, lol.

That first division has exactly three good Pokemon, so it's fine.

This is tough to choose between IV and VIII for me. Empoleon, Lucario, Magnezone, and Dialga vs. G-Meowth line, Corviknight, H-Goodra, and Zamazenta. I think ultimately VIII takes this.

This is an easy vote for V, based on the Tirtouga line, Gigalith, Dwebble, and Terrakion.

I, VI, VIII, and IX are in some kind of order for the Top 5.

These divisions have too many great Pokemon, wtf.

I guess V? It's hard to find one that really stands out. Looking through these lists, I think I just discovered Psychic is probably one of my least favorite types.

I has Starmie as the big highlight, and then a bunch that are just okay to good.

II I guess has Slowking.

III has Metagross, and Latios is nice too. Spoink line is decent.

IV has Gallade and Azelf, but they're still kinda low as far as highs go.

V has the Woobat line, Reuniclus, and Sigilyph, which I think is enough to put it on top.

VI has Espurr line, plus Mega Metagross is pretty cool. Other Psychic Megas are bad or just kind of a side-grade.

VII is live IV where the highs aren't particularly high, but A-Raichu and S/M box legends are decent (not Necrozma)

VIII is probably fighting with I for second place, with Wydreer and the G-Slows doing the work.

IX is just Rabsca and I guess Iron Boulder.

V > I > VIII > uhh III > VII > IV > VI > IX > II, just all over the place.

I gotta go with Gen I on this one. Nidoking, Tentacruel, Gengar, Victreebel, and Venomoth are all pretty good. They just have the sheer numbers, and unlike Normal, the numbers are actually of a high quality.

VIII gets second place, with Toxtricity, Overqwil, and G-Slowking as the driving force.

Not sure about third, but I'm leaning IV for Roserade and Toxicroak. Maybe VII.

Should tough it out until Sunkern learns Seed Bomb at 45.

Mr. Rime is actually a good name though. I was unfamiliar with the word "rime" before the Pokemon existed, but it's perfect for an Ice type Mr. Mime evolution.

I should give this one a rewatch. I only saw it the once in the theater.

VIII wins off the back of the cross-gen evos, Dubwool, and the H-Zorua line.

V is second for Minccino and Lillipup lines, plus Sawsbuck.

Most Normals aren't great.
