Similar to Finneon, I'm not sure why people hate Sunflora so much. It's just a happy sunflower. Battle prowess aside, it's not like "it's just a flower" Pokemon were overkill by Gen II. Yeah, that movepool was awful, but at least it wasn't "all you get is Tackle until all the way to 44 when you learn... Mega Drain" like Jumpluff! --- Change is weird. |

I played Scarlet and didn't even know that Koraidon was named Winged King. IIRC it was just an extra detail mentioned in either their Pokedex entries or the Scarlet/Violet Book. NBIceman posted... I would contend that portmanteaus are still marginally more clever than just picking a couple of words and putting a space between them. Something like Arcanine may not be the absolute peak of creativity, but it's better than Blazing Hound. Arcanine is fine. It's stuff like Talonflame that's the most "lazy" sounding. Sandslash is just a Y away from being the same as Sandy Shocks. --- Change is weird. |

They talked about the importance of resource management during the Q&A. It's definitely not going to make everyone happy.
Back when they first showed some gameplay clips of the player walking and getting into a battle, I saw numerous people say random encounters were a deal breaker for them. --- Change is weird. |

I do think it's interesting that they chose to go with the two word names for the paradox mons. They remind me of the codenames of the Ultra Beasts, but they got 'real' names to go alongside them. Even Koraidon and Miraidon have both codenames and proper names, so it makes it all the stranger that the rest of the Paradoxes don't. --- Change is weird. |

A: We have not included any missable elements in this title that need a time limit or a major redo. This is something that Murayama was also concerned about when creating Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundered Heroes. It's worded in a way that suggests maybe there are some missables, but not in a "if you didn't backtrack to this obscure place at this specific time" kind of way. So maybe just story choice-based missables? And that also doesn't necessarily mean there are no convoluted recruitment methods, just that any character like that won't be missable. --- Change is weird. |
