one thing I really appreciate about the soundtrack is that they put the best part of the battle theme at the start of the theme

I've seen too many games where the best part of the theme is far enough into the battle theme that you never hear it since battles are too short

also yeah 2-E is a great map and it has that really sweet bgm (there's another big defend level later with another really sweet bgm. I guess they know you'll take a long time on them lol). I always defended the stairs one level lower than that though, gives you a little more space to move around or to retreat if needed

Saying game of thrones is one of the most pirated shows is meaningless here because (very exaggerated example) a show with 100 legal viewers and 100 pirates is clearly better at getting people to watch legally than a show with 10 legal viewers and 30 pirates

I don't really know enough about hbo go or streaming tv shows in general to comment further on that example though

Yeah definitely convenience is a big thing, both in terms of purchasing and in terms of playing

A lot of people in this topic seem to be implying that pirates will just pirate everything no matter what and you can't do anything to change that. And sure I'll agree there are some people like that but most people who pirate can probably be convinced to buy with the right combination of convenience and pricing

I personally prefer higurashi since umineko gets extremely wordy and drawn out in some of the later chapters. I can't deny that its payoff is extremely good but I find it very hard to recommend for that reason

I feel like LNs would be more popular if they were as accessible as any other type of entertainment. Seriously, you gotta wade through mountains of nonsense just to maybe find a link that doesn't lead to someone's fucking blog about the series you're after.

I keep trying to get into LNs, I do. But this shit is just inexcusable. It shouldn't be this hard.

honestly the best way is to find someone who really follows the JP scene and just ask them about stuff. Or read things that got adapted into anime since then you have an idea what they're about. But yeah there's tons of random obscure (and not so obscure) LNs that no one notices just because it's so hard to find concrete info on them
