well actually i did get up to beating all the trainers in the third gym. nothing eventful happened so i'll do the gym battle tomorrow morning maybe.

i think there's actually a trainer or two i can still battle for the exp just to be safe. mnk is at 21 and i can go up to 23.

so strategy talk i guess. mnk has to be the star this time around. half the team is weak to bug so i won't be taking them although I did briefly think about taking Santa the Sandile for Intimidate. probably will not happen. moveset is too underwhelming right now that Intimidate doesn't make up for it.

so starting from now, all the gyms have 3 Pokemon which means i'll be taking 3 every time. i think in addition to mnk, the other 2 are just going to be Kira and Blue the Patrat just by process of elimination.

it is too hot to want to do anything that requires any thought

but i was getting at that it wouldn't serve as an efficient method for cleaning since after you licked it off or whatever, you would still need to wash your hand unless you have magic cum

Because Sandile was at level 16 which is when it learns Assurance, it had Bite overwritten. Bite's like the best move it has for a while until Crunch at 28 and first decent ground move it actually learns is Dig at 32.

well during regular playthroughs, i'll stop evolutions all the time when i like the pre-evo forms more and want to get through the game with them (Chikorita and Fennekin come to mind).

and Dream Eater is definitely a no-go.

oh yeah and i will not stop evolutions so whenever a pokemon gets to the level where it evolves, that's it. it's evolving.

i'll do more research for stone evolutions like Bane the Munna and evolve when possible after seeing moves.

I've always thought that places like inner and outer Pinwheel Forest should count separately since they're totally different Pokemon encounters. Outer should've just been called Route 4.

yeah i think this could be fair but because the met location in the pokemon summary shows no difference, i'm just going to abstain from that area.

yeah the potential problem with that is Bane is slow as shit and pretty weak defensively and both of Lenora's Pokemon know Bite which is super effective. Both my Lillipup and Patrat know Bite so no reason they wouldn't know it.

I might have to just get a new party member now because everyone is too low leveled now and there is nowhere to train except the grass in outer Pinwheel. this means that any encounters that are exclusive to inner pinwheel is probably lost.

the crazy thing is i've only started doing the 'all on screen at the same time' thing relatively recently. like how did i not do that way earlier. i just do that for video too instead of just cycling through 10 videos for 5 seconds each.

well i've played like 10 minutes since the last update so there's not a lot to go on other than getting the TM for Rock Smash.

Lenora has Herdier and Watchhog (Lv. 20). So I can take two Pokemon with me. Kira is the strongest with the best moveset right now so definitely taking her. Now the question is who the other one is going to be. Probably either Blue for general support or Bane for Yawn.

Leaning towards just using the same strategy as before. Lead with Kira and hopefully sweep to minimize chance of losses. Now that I've got Work Up, setting up for a sweep becomes more likely. I guess the question is whether it can last enough to get two Work Ups off. No guarantees about speed either. Starting Bane for Yawn and then switching to Kira to set up and sweep would be ideal EXCEPT Herdier and Watchhog for sure know Bite which is super effective against Bane and he might die before the Yawn goes off. Kira is also the only one that could learn Rock Smash. I thought for sure Patrat could learn it but no.

Or if the Pinwheel Forest encounter is a fighting type, I can take that since whoever it is could take more of a hit than anyone else right now which would make switching more viable. damn. if mnk had ended up being a Roggenrola since there was a 50% chance, I would have for sure used it.

...i don't want any actual marks on my physical stuff. that ruins the quality. like when you hotglue a figure.

what you do in the case of comic/manga/doujinshi is have all the good pages in different tabs and continuously switch between them at the end. or pick some pages out and adjust the borders of the different windows so that they're all on the screen at the same time.

yeah i like having physical content but i never actually use them for practical reasons.

i also have hoarding tendencies. all the stuff i'm deleting is backed up on externals anyway lol. otherwise i wouldn't be able to.

but at least they're not on the current drive so i don't spend a bunch of time over them. and really i could cut it down to just the ones i look at repeatedly.
