i think i actually started with a word doc and then the watchlist feature on some sites but excel spreadsheet has been my go-to for everything for a while now

Mine was about half the size this morning that it is now. Some of my entries were things like "Ghibli series" or "Zatoichi series" and I got a bug up my butt and decided to add each movie separately.

i think if i ever lost my spreadsheet with all my data on it i would just stop watching movies

every so often i cut stuff from my watchlist but do keep that list in a different sheet of a spreadsheet so i have a primary watchlist and secondary "true" watchlist which i've told myself i'm fine with never getting to as a coping mechanism

so my primary watchlist is at 88 right now and my secondary at 101. actually made a huge dent in that last year during quarantine

i stopped searching stuff though since my dream has been to have no watchlist some day with the exception of new stuff

I think I'm mostly done with superhero movies? Or at least the Marvel variety. I think I was done a while ago but I was just dragging it out until the overall story came to a conclusion, so once the last Avengers movie came out I kind of lost any reason I had to continue watching them.

yeah i guess i've been "done" with them for a while but with the exception of X-Men because i fucking love X-Men. i still can't believe i somehow ended up watching most of the MCU because it's all over the place. and all the ones i saw were like 6/10 or below for me except Dr. Strange and Iron Man.
