| joe40001 10/02/18 2:33:03 PM #1 | I've tried therapists and medication many times over the years, I'm not sure what I need to do to break the cycle. It's really bad though. Plus I don't have much money so getting psychatric help is very hard. I would want to go to a trauma therapist but that's like 100 dollars a session and I think it's unrealistic to think I'd get better in like less than 8 sessions. I think a big part of the problem is taking ownership of my life feels like this endless self-shaming humilation thing and i get so paralyzed by fear anxiety and depression that doing anything is so difficult. Don't both using a key on a shop unless you already got the treasure room and you have a load of money. Yeah these are key bits of advice. Always go for treasure rooms, shops can have a good item at 7(?) but usually the good item is 15 IIRC. Focusing on dodging rather than damage helps a lot. Pretty much all bosses and enemies have a predictable pattern that isn't too hard to figure out. Don't worry about the "git good" crowd, it's not that it's a hard game, it's just a game that you get better and better at with time.
