Paul I will put at Mid Fodder. He generally gets credit for a lot of The Beatles' most popular songs, and had a long solo career after they broke up. I would say he is still active to this day, but of course no sane musician has been "active" since this March. Most of the Gfaqs demographic should know Paul and many of the popular songs he wrote, considering that their parents likely lived through Beatlemania. Plus the "Paul McCartney is dead" meme is still a thing.

I'll put Sharla at Mid Fodder. I don't think she'd beat out Melia, but she is a main party member from game the site really cares about. Plus she's got TJF.

Low Fodder for Jack. Based on the performance of Bioshock Infinite in GOTD2, I don't think Gfaqs cares enough about this series to vote for the first game's faceless protagonist.

I will say Low Fodder for the Chosen Undead - I'm not sure that the Chosen's canon appearance is all that well-known, and voters may not be inclined to vote for a Chosen that is not -their- created character.

Bianca I will put at Mid Fodder. I don't think DQV is hugely popular on the site, but the iconic Dragon Quest character design combined with TJF should be enough to boost her.

Low Fodder for Tarzan. His games for the N64 and Playstation were not particularly good or well-remembered, and Tarzan the movie is probably third tier Disney at best.

Mid Fodder for Cynthia. Despite being from Gen 4, she is one of the fan-favorite waifus of the entire Pokemon series and stands out due to being the first female champion. G4 is probably the cutoff for human Pokemon characters being worth anything though.

Naoto I will put with the rest of the P4 girls at Mid Fodder. From what I've seen all of them have sizable fanbases, and Naoto absolutely stands out from the rest in terms of design and characterization.

Galuf is an old man from FFV - pretty obvious Low Fodder vote here.

Moogle I say is Mid Fodder. Probably not as popular as the Chocobo, but still a very recognizable mascot for the Final Fantasy series that appears in nearly every game.

I will agree with moving Blaze down to Low Fodder. Streets of Rage 4 came out recently and didn't seem to make much of an impact on Gfaqs. I have seen a few topics for it, so there is definitely still a small fanbase that would vote for her.

I will second re-ranking Cynthia. High Fodder does seem too high for a Gen 4 human character, even one as popular as Cynthia. She'll easily be much stronger than N though.

Agree with Axem. I'll barely give Frankenstein the benefit of the doubt due to the sheer amount of media he has appeared in. Castlevania, Boris Karlof's Frankenstein portrayal and Young Frankenstein are probably the most important appearances.

And I'll agree to re-rank Blaze as well. I think Gfaqs does care a little bit about Streets of Rage, but that may not be enough to get any of the characters to mid, even considering Blaze's TJF.

I don't really know about Vanille, but I recall people not really liking her, so I will say Low Fodder. Probably a strong low fodder based on the waifu factor.

Low Fodder for Human Torch. He is slightly iconic, but I'm just not seeing any reason for Gfaqs to care about him. He was portrayed as a bit of a jerk in 2000s Fantastic Four movies, and aside from that he's just "the fire guy" in a bunch of Marvel games the site hasn't played.

Low Fodder for Valkyrie. Not because Gfaqs cares about Gauntlet, but because of TJF. She could potentially drop to law if they use an old sprite for her match pic though.

Low Fodder for Callie and Marie. Splatoon 2's performance in GOTD2 proved the series isn't nearly as strong as we previously thought when these 2 were first rated. The NPC fan-favorites of the series thus won't be worth more than your average bad fodder.

Heh. That said I'll change my rating on Ghost Rider to Low Fodder. I could see him being not great since MvC is his only relevant game appearance and the Ghost Rider movies don't seem well-remembered for anything besides Nick Cage memes. High Fodder for the Chocobo. Chocobos are in just about every Final Fantasy game, as opposed to Boko who is tied to the unpopular FF5. Between FF7's Chocobo racing and multiple spinoff games (Chocobo Dungeon, etc), I think the Chocobo will be able to outdo most fodder.

I haven't played enough of FF12 to know for sure, but it seems like Penelo has some of the same issues that Vaan has - that is, having very little plot relevance. Penelo definitely doesn't get the vocal hate that Vaan does, but I don't see how she ends up doing much better herself. I'll saw Low Fodder.

I say Mid Fodder for Ghost Rider for 2 reasons: FLAMING SKELETON ON A BIKE, and Nick Cage. Aside from that he was in MvC3 and the Agents of Shield tv show too.

I'll say Mid Fodder for Fang. She seems to be one of the better-liked characters in the FF13 trilogy, and yeah, she's pretty hot too.

Tron I will say Mid Fodder for as well. Gfaqs likely still has some nostalgia for the Mega Man Legends games, plus Tron has been a mainstay of the Marvel vs Capcom series since MvC2. Her design is also quite distinctive.

Low Fodder for Count Bleck, recycling the same reasoning we used yesterday for Dimentio.

I nominated Jeff for re-ranking hundreds of days ago, but I still think Low Fodder is more accurate. Most of Gfaqs will know who he is, as the first few seasons of Survivor in the early 2000s were a BIG deal. I'm sure that even 15 years later Gfaqs voters will still remember his name, and I think he'll get enough apathy votes compared to someone like Caim to not be among the worst potential characters for a contest.

Survivor is still running today, though I'm sure all of 3 people on Gfaqs are still actually watching.

I really don't know Jack, so I'll say Low Fodder for Cookie. He'll have the support of B8 and will probably be able to pick up some casual votes to not be terrible.

I don't think people care for Mr. X the same way they care about Nemesis, but RE2 is still very popular on the site, so I'll give Mr. X Mid Fodder. Plus he'll GIVE IT YOU KNOCK KNOCK OPEN THE DOOR ITS REAL

Low Fodder for Dimentio. I'm not convinced that Gfaqs cares enough about Super Paper Mario, which has always a somewhat divisive game.

Godzilla I say is High Fodder. He is an icon and probably the sole reason Kaiju media is still around to this day. He's been in a ton of video games, including Destroy All Monsters Melee which a lot of Gfaqs has likely played. Plus he has new western movies come out every few years, the most recent being last year's King of the Monsters. I'm sure some people are fans of the hundreds of Japanese movies around, but I doubt there will be many here. And you can't really go wrong with his design 1997 Godzilla wasn't him, it was -Zilla-, check the nomination list

Agree with Low Fodder for Madison.

Presea I say is Mid Fodder, but not particularly good mid fodder. I'm not sure about Veronica, but Presea is a very well-liked character in ToS (might be better-liked overall than Lloyd), and I think her design won't turn away nearly as many people. She is hurt by admittedly not being an archetype of character Gfaqs cares for.

Agree with Low Fodder for Arceus. The "Pokemon God" thing is really all it has going for it, which won't be enough to overcome being a Gen 4 pokemon.

Agree with Mid Fodder for Doom, citing Metal's reasoning.

nominate Dr Doom for re-ranking. Popular on B8 or not, the main rival of the Fantastic Four hasn't had much going for him in the past decade save for a terrible 2015 movie. I think he will fall to mid fodder but probably be one of the better ones seeing that he is still an iconic comic villain and had a major gaming impact with his Marvel vs Capcom appearances.

agree with Midcarder on Gary and Low Fodder on Jimi Hendrix.

I say Mid Fodder for Guy. While he isn't as big of a fan favorite among Street Fighter fans, he has a lot more relevance in Final Fight itself. Like his early contemporaries Ryu and Strider, he'll get a ninja bonus too. Plus he appeared in all 3 of the SF Alpha games and Super Street Fighter IV. I think it is likely that those among the Gfaqs demographic have played at least one game that featured Guy.

I'll agree with Mid Fodder on Jessie. High might be possible but I'm going to be cautious considering FF7R is still pretty new, and I think Jessie was probably low fodder prior to this.

I will barely give Serah Mid Fodder - she doesn't seem to be hated and probably gets compared favorably to her sis. She'll probably get some waifu points too. The game she starred in is not really talked about much, but I think it is the best-received of the XIII trilogy?

I will put Azala at Low Fodder. She is a somewhat memorable antagonist from CT, but she is stuck in the prehistory chapter of the game, and I expect her design will hold her back.

For Seymour I say Mid Fodder. Not just because of steamed hams, but because of another meme that speaks more strongly to Gfaqs:

For Inkling I will say Mid Fodder. The first rating we did on Inkling vastly overestimated the strength of Splatoon. Splatoon 2 got pushed around in GOTD2 and I think site demographics did not shift favorably for multi-player games. There should still be somewhat of a fandom left on the site though, and the Inkling does have a distinctive design going for it as well as smash.
